Please respond so I can accumulate points to leech mods Big Hello Smiley

I've decided to look elsewhere from Nexus mods after viewing one too many barbie follower/beauty mods on the front page. I get the impression that this website caters to a different audience. I have got high hopes for this forum.

I work part time night shifts at the casino and in my free time I like to mod. The majority of the time it's a Bethesda game but not exclusively.

I first tasted the addictive nectar of game modification with TESIII when I was 14. My fondest memory is of my first 'complicated' mod installation of FCOM for TESIV when I was 15. I recall following this very long set of instructions while understanding little to nothing of what I was actually doing. The satisfaction from playing the game at the end of that journey is indescribable for me.

Lately I've been spending more time tinkering with mods than playing. A decade since FCOM and I haven't grown out of that feeling. I have a tendency to prefer large game overhauls that painfully incompatible (Requiem for TESV, After War Nevada for FNV). I'm currently working on a load order for New Vegas.

I first heard of GUNetwork from a Youtube video covering one of Dragbody's 'exclusive' mods: "Upgrades from the Commonwealth". I was very excited when I saw the author's name. I think my favourite work of theirs is "Caesar's New Regime" for FNV. That person makes some freaking excellent mods.

I hope you didn't manage to read this far without realising the first sentence is a joke

P.S Don't get me wrong I do like barbie follower mods so long as they have good voice acting and at least a short quest.

Nice to meet you. This community is great and I'm sure you'll find a sense of belonging in here, especially if you like modding/Bethesda RPGs.

To be honest, your first statement is kinda how I got into this community in the first place. There used to be a short phrase somewhere on the forum homepage, went something along the lines of "Join for the mods, stay for the community". Truer words hath never been typed. Hope you enjoy your time here, fellow GUNner (or whatever we call ourselves)

Edit after I posted: Found dem words. They seem smaller than I remember
