| In another post I mentioned how there are no pregnant women in the wasteland. Not one, as far as my eyes could tell. Although there's one in the Iguaza Mall mod. But it doesn't stop there, I realized. I don't think there are any disabled people (other than Mr. House and the Robobrains if you want to count them.) But, more "traditional" disabilities and injuries, not so much. There are, as far as I know, no men in dresses. Seriously, it's Vegas. As the song goes, "Anything goes." You'd think it would be the place to go if you were a bit out of the ordinary. It's a world where people have sex with protectrons! They're not a sheltered, prudish, judgemental people, in Vegas. House certainly wouldn't care as long as they didn't threaten his plans. No gay bar either... is that part of the fallout culture or just something that never got put in the game, like the pregnant women? |

| I think modelling disabled people and pregnant women would be too much of a hassle for Bethesda and Obsidian, (just look at how instead of a modelled kid, you're a scaled down adult in F3). And as far as gay bars go, I think every casino that has prostitutes have both male and female ones. So I'd say the culture is not exclusive, it's just accepted. _________________ Though I may walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil. For my Colt is with me.

| Yeah, I was thinking that if gays were completely accepted, there wouldn't be gay specific bars, but I don't want to speak for others' preferences in bars. People have figured out how to do mounts and vehicles, wheelchairs are probably possible. But its' a lot of work for something that would likely just be in the background. |

| Boxcars is supposed to be disabled after the Legion hammered his legs. So is Ranger Andy and Corporal Sterling.
You cannot really see this in game though without relying on mods. _________________ Will there be enough Dakka? |

| You see a fair number of normal children, but I can't remember seeing a single ghoul child in New Vegas. There's one in Fallout 4, but that's the first one I remember seeing in the history of the franchise. Did I just miss them? |

| No, you didn't miss anything, they're absent from the game. Ghoul children, pregnant woman, disabled people, finding them is like trying to find an orc in skyrim. |

| I think there should be actually disabled people in the wastes. There's really only pros to having that, it makes the world more immersive like it makes no sense that the game acknowledges crippled limbs but all anyone does when they have them is limp. And also we should definitely have some drag queens, who don't love drag queens and they'd fit the atmosphere. _________________ |

| @ninodeawesome i agree, though my theory as to why more disabled people and/or drag queens aren't in FO games is due to politics/political backlash potentially, plus i've noticed things are relatively light-hearted despite everything being a post-apocalyptic world so no "REALLY sad stuff allowed, nothing that hits close to home" i'm guessing is an unwritten rule
also, according to other game devs' comments i've read before that apparently "disabilities are sad and serious so nah we're not putting that in game" (hint: game devs said this about a certain game involving SIMulations) |

| Disabled people probably would have just required more work and they were already strapped for time. I think that's all there was to it. There are no men in dresses as far as I know, even with mods. There some mods, I think, that basically mix the female bodied-dres with a male head, but that's not the same as a dress on a man; the pre-war clothes magically transform to gender-specific clothes somehow. In fallout 4, I don't think the clothes do that anymore. |

| I think it's simply because Bethesda are too lazy to make models of those people. It's a shame because they sure can add some realism in the game. I feel like adding pregnant woman characters into the game can made some heartwarming quest or stories. |

| I'd be all for playing a pregnant woman. A whole part of the female experience that's completely ignored in most role-playing games. _________________ "It's 106 miles to Arroyo, we've got a full fusion cell, half a pack of RadAway, it's midnight, and I'm wearing a 50 year old Vault 13 jumpsuit. That analogy's kind of invalid because there are Orc strongholds, occasional Orc bandits and then also those exceptionally rare old guys who want to die in a fight to the death. |

| Lets be honest, Fallout is a retro-atomic futuristic post apocalyptic society, and as far as I know, in pre war Fallout lore, homosexuality right up until the Great War was still frowned upon and is still frowned upon in post apocalyptic America such as when Cass talks about how the legion mount each other instead of women as an insult and in a manner of disgust, and a lot of gay characters like in F4 or FNV, keep their shit secret like Knight at the Mojave Outpost. However in a world of rebuilding civilization, there should be evidence of pregnant women and babies but there isn't which really fucking sucks and there is evidence of disabled people, mostly mentally disabled via the fiends but no known physically disabled people which sucks except as you said House and the Robobrains who had brains of criminally insane and disabled folk. I think that Fallout should make the presence of homosexuality/bisexuality/non-heterosexual behavior more prevalent but to keep it feeling like a futuristic 1950s style post apocalyptic game, it should be under wraps like it is currently but on a more common scale, believe it or not, people used to be socially destroyed if there was even a hint of evidence or rumor of homosexual romance back in the Atomic Era so yeah. However, since transexuals are a more recent trend, within the last couple of decades, there should only be crossdressers, which is something that should be added but less common to find in the wasteland.
There are no gay bars because it still isn't accepted behavior in the Fallout world, despite some wastelander behaviors. However, I remember there's a mod that allows NPCs and yourself to get pregnant but you need to download it from a site I won't mention because its 18+ and it requires a mod that is very inappropiate and should not be applied to your game unless you are 18 or older and you should play the game at least once without it or else, it'll ruin your perception of the game. If you really wanna know about it, send me a PM. It adds quite bluntly, the ability to reproduce, for NPCs (Both animals, creatures, and humans/humanoids) to do the deed and then you install a plugin that adds the ability for a chance of offspring coming into play after a certain amount of in-game time. But the mod(s) inflate your game significantly and it is not recommended for a stable modded playthrough.
I think there's a mod also that might add the ability to chop off the limbs of a poor soul alive and if you can leave them, say if they are an important NPC and then come back, they may not have an arm, though I dunno if you can do that. And the mentioned mod above has plugins that allow you to see homosexual interactions between NPCs and you and NPCs and other NPCs.
I'm gonna stop talking now cause I'm getting uncomfortable. _________________ " Life is a beautiful and awesome process, awe-inspiring exchange of living things working together or against each other for each their own purposes." -Me, Matthew. |

| Yeah, there's mods to fix just about anything.
There's a gay lieutenant at the Mojave outpost who says that on the edges of the world, like the outpost, there's prejudices, but not so much in big cities. |
