Hey all, I'm never much good at introductions but I'll take a shot!

I'm Icee(or Nick, don't mind either one) and I'm excited to join the community! After playing on console for the last 15 years, I finally saved up enough to get an Inspiron 5577 and I'm loving it. Being able to play classics like KOTOR and Oblivion again is unbelievably satisfying, and I can't wait to get home after a long day and veg out downloading new mods to perk up the vanilla experience I remember. New Vegas has been my drug of late and even if it takes me a while to get the status to download mods, I'm glad I found such an active and positive place where I can do more than lurk!

I hope to get to know everybody and would love some recommendations on your favorite mods for NV!

In terms of recommendations for mods, I would have to suggest all of Drag's work. Another mod I cannot live without is Solid Project. Happy modding!

Eugh, KOTOR is the best isn't it? I love that game so much. It's up there with Fallout: New Vegas in my top 5. All hail Obsidian!

Fear and loathing in New Vegas is a good base guide for modding Fallout:NV if you get the chance to read it. I'd also recommend watching some tutorials for Mod Organiser, it's for more advanced users but offers much more flexibility to getting a more stable game.

As far as mods go, Dragbody's work is second to none when it comes to armour/faction overhauls.

Other mods I'd personally recommend: Project Nevada, Solid Project, NMC's textures (or alternatively UHQ Terrain - Rocks - Roads Overhaul), Fallout character overhaul version 2.3.1 and New Vegas redesigned 3.

What's up Icee. I'd have to say that any of the various animation replacers that are available, such as Hitman's various offerings are worth checking out. I'm partial to the JE Sawyer mod myself, but that isn't for everyone. Hopefully you like the site, it's a nice place.

If you want a recommendation for a mod I'd recommend Tale of Two Wastelands if you own both Fallout games and all of their DLC. It merges both games into one so check it out if that sounds like your cup of tea.
