I ripped caliberx out of my game partway through my current playthrough to utilize the public version of RSA tactical. now i'm getting weird letters in place of abbreviations following the numbers of which caliber im using. Can someone explain to me why there is so much push back against the use of caliberx?

It's not necessarily push back it's just a reaction from the game after the mod was removed, since you're using a save that had caliberx installed it's gonna want to use the caliberx files which you no longer have. In order to fix this glitch you'll need to start a new game, to avoid this in the future be sure to have a "clean" save to revert back to should there be any issues with future mods.

Removing and adding major mods like Caliber can have bad effects on existing saves. Best starting a new save for each thing bud.

I went back to using it, i meant more along the line of why everyone i've so far encountered on and off site that say caliberx should be avoided.
