Howdy ho. New here to GUN, veteran to modding. I'm having trouble keeping my game at a stable fps. I have a fairly decent PC (Ryzen7-1700 cpu / gtx1080 strix gpu / 16gb Ram / win10 ), and while most of the time the game runs anywhere between 35fps on the lowend and 59 capped. I am running fnvse+4glauncher compatible with ENB, and NVSR. i've made the appropriate adjustments to my .ini's.


Now my game doesn't crash and it runs stable, and heavily modded, but i feel like i can make it better. My theory is if i switch FNV over to my solid state, it'll reduce the annoying lag every time i transition cells. its not a big lag, just a bit of a loading stutter. My problem is i have no idea how to safely convert from my HDD D: drive and onto my SSD.

also, i don't know how to post my mod list. but those are my troubles i'm looking to shoot.

Its not just because youre on a hdd its because of windows 10 + nvsr (ive tried all sort of tweaks to nvsr ini and its either live with the lag or crashing eventually) too.

Im running my game on a samsung 850 evo and i would get lag when transitioning cells on windows 10, switch to my w7 with the exact same directory and it become lag free.

If youre using MO it should be easy as hell to switch directory, just reinstall fnv and then change the fnv directory in MO to the new one. If youre using anything else then good luck i dont use fomm or nmm to offer advice.

Yeah im using NMM cuz im familiar with it. I've managed to get the NVSR and win10 to work together but the weapon i was holding when i made the config.ini changes, is now somehow broken with falshing invisible models. riddle me that one batman
