Hi guys,

I wish I got a few more hours of sleep in order to sound a bit more enthusiastic, but I stood up all night trying to mod Fallout New Vegas since I finally got my hands on a decent gaming laptop.

My old one (R.I.P. Lenovo G510) was literally trashed by the local support / service provider in their own depot and they wouldn't admit any wrong-doing for months (it would be a year this July) until I got to speak to an actual Lenovo representative.

I won't bore you with the details, but let's just say I almost cried when they told me that the laptop that had all my saves and mods for FNV that I have had painstakingly put together to fall in love with the game again...was gone. They "encountered technical issue" and such and could only give me my money back.

Sob story aside, got the money back, purchased a sweet upgrade of a laptop and now I'm looking forward to making my FNV pop again.

As a side-note I have only just heard about this forum and its community from someone that goes by "ExoticRPGs" on YouTube. He was presenting various mods for the game, but whenever he'd mention a mod that really stood out it happened to be from GUN, so I decided to see what you guys were all about.


Okay, that's as much as I can type without literally collapsing, but hope I get to know some of you and discuss some mod and non-mod related topics.



P.S. : I wanted to register as "Kl3sk" (my Steam name), but it was taken, so I got mad and well...I just hope mods understand it's a joke and I don't mean to offend anyone.
