It's fairly remarkable that there's a sentient robot with based on alien technology wandering around out there and we've not heard about it since fallout 2. As far as I know.
You'd think that would be ripe for another story, even if just from modders. But even modders, I think, haven't bothered to continue the story of this alien-derived AI.

I just hope he appears in a fallout game. It is the best companion that I had in Fallout 2 . IIRC it journeyed the wastes after the Chosen One destroyed the Oil Rig to look for terminals I think so that it could get more data for it to evolve.

It could have switched to a synth body and passed off as human, potentially. Or, well, almost anything, since it can likely evolve. I honestly wish it had been connected to the institute story in some way. I guess if Honest hearts can get a full remake by modders, maybe we'll see something like that for fallout 4 someday.

@Sirdanest According to the wiki it is most likely to be in the Glow so Skynet could definitely appear in a mod taking you back to California.

Skynet is gone when Interplay studio shut down. Bethesda was kind enough to make Harold his last appearance, I guess.
