| I haven't played the game in about 10 days and decided I wanted to boot it up and build up a settlement. I launched the game and it took me to the launcher. I hit play. A few seconds later, it tells me Fallout 4 has crashed. I really don't know what mod is now breaking the game as it was at least playable 10 days ago. I'll post my load order: - Load Order:

Does anyone know which of these is rendered broken now so I don't have to go through and individually disabled each to find it? At this point I'm tempted to just uninstall it and just wait until the "updates" stop so I can't actually play the game as this would be less of a headache.. |

| I would say get rid of scrap everythng core since ultimate edition is all you need. I know it will crash for that, try disabling core.esp for scrap everything and see if that works. _________________  |

| @Distortion Isn't the core one needed to make the mod function? Edit: still crashes at the start. |

| @Wertologist try legendary2LM.esp for awhile i couldn't get that to work with any download and eventually just removed it from my load order, see if that works. Also, have you updated F4SE? i think its on 10.26 right now. Gotta make sure you have that downloaded to the latest if you haven't _________________ |

| @Distortion I don't see that mod in the load order. I haven't updated FO4se for a while because of all these updates. I didn't update it last update and I could still run the game. Some mods didn't function, but they didn't break the game. |

| so it tells you that "fallout 4 has stopped working" or just ctd without warning? make sure you don't have msi afterburner or rivatuner running on background. |

| @Wertolgist You still can't get Fallout 4 working? Have you tried playing the game without mods to see if you can find the mod that's stopping the game working? |

| Updating f4se and mods that support the latest version should not be a bad thing. It guess that it will probably not fix the issue, but can already bring more stability . _________________  Splatter, splatter, splatter, gnnnniihhh and....SPLATTER! |

| i eventually fixed it. It wasn't a mod issue as I tried a fresh install with no mods and it would still crash. The update in question somehow was incompatible with my current Nvidia driver settings or something. I changed it from "automatic" to "high performance" or something like that. The weird thing is that it worked completely fine before that update on that setting. Then the update made it crash. |
