I'm not the most experienced modder. I just love Fallout and TES. I'm not happy with the direction Bethesda is going with these franchises and I want to be part of the online dialogue to maybe show Bethesda the error of their ways. They just keep dumbing down story and role playing elements, and why should we pay for mods when we already have to pay a hefty sum for a season pass just to experience everything the game has to offer? I'd rather donate my money directly to the author, so I know they're getting all of it.

While we're talking about western RPGs, WTF is Bioware doing to Mass Effect? I was hospitalized from the first of march to the middle of April following a car accident, and it released during that time. I remember seeing the commercials for it on my hospital room TV, and being bummed out that I couldn't play it.

I did notice that the ads had no fawning quotes from critics, which I thought was odd in this day and age when critics can be so easily impressed. little did I know how disappointed I would be when I actually got a look at that travesty. It's like watching your favorite games get beaten to death when these companies that own the rights get greedy.

Anyway, I digress. I've always been a huge RPG fan going back to games like Torment and Baldur's Gate. I'm very grateful for the modding communities that keep older games alive and fun to play. I caught wind of GUN looking for the best mods, and while I don't agree with the exclusivity methods you guys use here, I'm in no position to complain and I very much would like to be a part of this community. My dominant hand is still in a cast, so typing is a pain in the ass but I look forward to having many discussions with all of you.
