This topic as the title suggests is about the DLC Lonesome Road and the choices you can make in its ending with Ulysses and also the ICBM(S) you gain control over. 

Personally I always try to reason with Ulysses ever since I discovered you could. Just seeing the two couriers making a final stand back to back with the odds against them is pretty cool, also since I use mods to give me the option to make Ulysses my companion. His backstory is also at least to me flushed out and interesting making me not want to just kill him off. 

Moving on to the missile(s). You are given three options with what to do with them. Either launch them at the NCR/Legion (or both) or disarm them. I always find myself launching the missiles at the Legion forces. Mostly due to the fact that my replays of the campaign is usually centered around pro NCR I end up feeling obligated to take this chance to strike at the Legion. Also I like watching the missile take off and the atom cloud that follows. 

Though not really connected to the ending the loot you can get from Dry wells at least to me is not nearly as good as the loot you get from the Long 15. (Scorched Sierra Power Armor & Great Bear Grenade Rifle vs Red Victory Grenade Rifle & Armor of the 87th Tribe). Also there is more rare gear like Salvaged Power Armor that is in limited supply.

This is just my opinion, what is your favorable ending for The Lonesome Road?

Killing Ulysses as the courier fulfils the prophecy of only one courier surviving. Why would Ulysses get so far and then just give up? I never understood that ending.

Launching the missiles at the Legion killing Caesar is what I always do too. I don't want to get vilified by the NCR as I'm Independent and the Legion I could care less for.

Attempt to reason with Ulysses every time. After all...
What kind of world would it be if Courier killed Courier?

Well obviously it's the Planet of the Apes ending...

Well, I like the ending where the legion gets nuked but my favourite one has to be reasoning with Ulysses and letting him live and not nuking either side.

The final stand against the marked men is pretty cool after all.

Same as @frootcakes I always reason with Ulysses because its bad enough that he had to live his life in deep crap. So in the end, I keep blowing NCR and Legion up. And who doesn't want the cool armors at the end?

I fry the NCR and Leigon why? because it's good for me and I kill both idiots on both sides.
