Hi everyone. Not much of a request here but a discussion, I was thinking about how TTW lets you use FO3's unique items in NV (like winterized power armor, enclave officer uniform or those alien rifles) which is a feature I really liked. Recently I discovered gavin gold's enhanced version of dragbody's FO4 PA port, which included FO3's unique power armors in standalone NV and this made me think -

I'm not sure if I've ever seen someone port FO3's unique weapons and apparel into NV without using TTW. TTW itself turns FO3 into a 'dlc' for NV and I love it, but what if we injected these unique items into NV without the need of FO3? The assets are already compatible and lore friendly, and would make the game feel even bigger

Interesting thought. From what I recall of those early days, Fallout 3 modding never really took off all that massively as compared to NV or even FO4, so I'm not sure the modders really 'got around to it' so to speak. It didn't help that so few of the names weapons had a particularly unique look that I recall. We did get ports, it just tended to be of things like companions.

The day FO4 made 'legendaries' a thing and moved mostly away from hand-placed uniques was a dark day.
