so I'm planning a scientist /energy weapon based playthrough soon and I could use a few suggestions
1.the base games/old world blues energy weapons are good but id like a few mod weapons based around the play style
eve is good I have that already
but I could use better or like kind of mods
2. I also use robcos robot mod but is there anything like this that could add to it
id appreciate any ideas

Ah, looking for some sci-fi style stuff to add a little flavour to your playthrough?

I'd recommend this robot companions mod for you, it includes a lot of different bots from some well known series. There was also an HK-47 mod up here at one point, but I have no idea what happened to it TongueTril

If you want it, there's a blaster from star wars, along with a pretty engaging little quest to obtain it that would be great for an energy weapon build.

For quest mods, I'd recommend playing DEIMOS if you never have before. It's an older (but still great) quest mod that really fits into a science build and uses some of the skills you'll be putting points into.

Autumn Leaves is also a pretty fitting quest depending on how you build your character.

@paradoxwing This mod doesn't really add new weapons but it changes the laser effect so they look like bolts like on 1st and 2nd Fallout games/Star Wars. The link is down below:

There is also Powered Power Armor. I could argue that Power Armor is kinda like a robot/vehicle. What I like about this mod is the level of customization that you could do with your PA as well as how it behaves like its Fallout 4 counter part (minus the free fall).

I would also like to recommend Dragbody's Power Armor overhaul for FNV. It works with Power Power Armor as long as you place it lower in the install order.

Makes the repair skill and scrap metal more useful by giving you an alternative way to repair stuff besides vendors and mashing two weapons together.

I'm actually doing a mad scientist playthough right now. These are the two mods that are focal to the build:

I basically just build an army of robots and have them do my bidding while I fly around in that hoverchair like doctor robotnik. It's great.
