| Hey guys after taking a year hiatus from F3 and FNV and spending about 2 years playing F4, going back to the older Fallout games is hard for me.
Whenever I play F3 or FNV it just looks so old! Before I never noticed or thought about it before I ever played Fallout 4 but now after playing it... DAMN these games look so old!
Did anyone else feel like these games got old after playing Fallout 4? _________________ You've encountered a lone wolf noob... |

| Yeh. I want Beth to remaster FO3 on it's 10 Year Anniversary, but I dont think it'll be that different from classic FO3 considering what they did with SSE. |

| No I feel like new vegas looks fine for me while fo4 looks plastic and empty.
Also you play fallout games for the mechanics and world design not for graphics. |

| While the older games don't have the fancy modern graphics and fluidity that Fallout 4 has, New Vegas and Fallout 3 have a very stylized look to them that fits really well into the genre. If you have a decent enough rig, there are a lot of really nice mods for the game that make it look fantastic. @LukaTheJawa Exactly, Fallout 4 really has an odd, almost fake look to it. It doesn't feel like a proper Fallout game sometimes. The older games have a more unique world design to them. _________________ This is War, Survival is Your Responsibility. |

The worst game will still be the worst. |

| @Toxeon To each his own I suppose, but clearly you've never played fallout brotherhood of steel Though I would love to see a fo3 and nv remaster, I don't really need them, the story telling stays the same, the voice acting stays the same, I think the atmosphere for the games are great on their own. With a remaster you risk the game getting an unwanted color filter, or the game becoming too soft, too bright or too blurry. |

| @Toxeon Fallout 3 was way better than Fallout 4, and New Vegas is pretty much just a DLC for Fallout 3 with barely any life except for lispy Mr. New Vegas. It's a completely boring game where you have to walk miles to stumble upon one quest. I'd say it's one of the best games, if not the best. |

This. There's something off putting about 4's graphics and art style. It doesn't look like or feel like a Fallout game. There's an odd saturation and a lack of flair or inspiration in the art. There were some views when I first played New Vegas or 3, like climbing atop the washington monument or entering the lucky 38, walking along the Hoover Dam or sailing to point lookout. There's alack of character to the art that really makes it feel kind of dull and bland. There are some awesome moments, like the Prydwen's arrival, but they aren't really based on the graphics, more on the actual game mechanics. Fallout4 was a big dull world, which is sad to say about a game that had all the potential of a Skyrim meets Fallout 3 world scape. Fallout new vegas can certainly look stunning given the right mods. Ojo Bueno, NMC, an enb... I know there's an awesome graphics mod here on the GUN, but the name escapes me. As far as Fallout 3, you're better off palying TTW if you want a more graphic intensive experience. You really aren't going to get that from the base game, as ther aren't too many retexture mods for 3 out there compared to NV. _________________ Muwahahahahahahaha!!!What do you mean evil laugh!? | For me FO3 has best mood; FNV has best quest system; and FO4 has decent FPS mechanic and decent visual design. To fully enjoy FO3 and FNV I'm missing decent FPS mechanic, because I can't stand VATS, and to enjoy FO4 I'm missing mood and quests.

| @Scorpio9 have you tried lazurus project? IIRC I believe it has some fo4 styled features. There are some mods that add things like calibur based recoil, vats changes and a fo4 loot system, it's all a matter of finding which ones are perfect for you. _________________ Muwahahahahahahaha!!!What do you mean evil laugh!? Yes, I tried many mods form overhaul mods like Project Nevada, to small mods that when combined result in a very different gameplay. For example: Auto aim tweaks, Bodypart data mod, Realistic weapons damages, Health balance, Ultimatum etc At the end mods can't change hard coded things for example - enemies strafing L/R at full speed while shooting at you. generally FO3 and NV engine just didn't have good support for FPS type of gameplay, that's one reason why VAST as mechanic was added. I stopped playing before Lazarus was out, however that mod looks really good. |

| I feel the same way, until around 2 or 3 hours into the game, when I just get too immersed in the storyline, RP, and my character to notice. It will really just be worth while downloading some bright ENBs and interior lighting mods if you cant get used to it straight way. That's what I did. |
