so i started using nifskope yesterday and im trying to edit armor mods, i am able to remove parts of the outfit but how do i combine parts, like add a piece of an armor to another armor? can someone point me in the right direction, i dont need mega details, just where to start, like do i left click on something (<just an example)

Copy parts from another piece of armor, you ask? Well, that'd be easy in NifSkope. Select the part EXACTLY you want copied, right-click it in the sidebar, and under 'Block', click 'Copy Branch'. Go to the armor you want modified, and right-click somewhere under where you want it pasted (example: if it's a leg part, click under the leg node, and then right click it, and click 'Paste Branch'.

Use outfistudio64 ,its more easy ,u can mixed diferents nifs
Just import the nifts u want conbine/edit and export to single nif file (works with fnv/fallout/skyrim)

i have outfitstudio installed but haven't messed with it much yet, ill definitely try it out if its easier.

one thing i cant figure out on nif now is how to scale stuff, like make things bigger or smaller

Well,with outifstudio u can increase the mesh size,but takes time ..use the option scale
In this case i think the best option its 3dmask...but u need nif plugin to import nitfs
