Welcome. most people join for the mods at first but i think most people realize that this is just a really good community and its become less about the mod access.

Welcome! It's alright to join for the mods, just make sure you're open to the idea of being an active and valued community member and you'll find that aspect of the site quite alluring as well.

I don't know enough to judge but my gut is telling me that this IS a good community. Especially with the ancient 2009 interface feel of the website; I feel right at home here.
