Depends on the personality of my character, i try my best to not play the SAME STYLE EVERYTIMEEE = stealth, stealth, stealth. Because of that i don't end bored and believe me i get bored very easily.

I've always been a big fan of stealth games so I like to do things stealthily, I can never bring myself to try any other playstyle. I stalk the enemy from the shadows, strike when the moment is right, then vanish back into the shadows as if I was never there to begin with (aside from, uh... all of the bodies that were left behind).

I think the only times I don't use stealth in the fallout games is if I just happen to get ambushed out in the open while travelling, in those situations you have absolutely no choice but to fight and defend yourself.

For the first two fallout's I always used combat armour and guns early on then once power armour and a energy weapon was available I would switch over. As for Fallout 3 and New Vegas I always play using light armour and usually a sneak character with some silenced weapon and once you get better criticals it's game over.

Ranger setup usually covers my two main methods of approach. Good for sneaking (especially if it's at night and I have nightvision), and for charging in guns blazing.
