There's a gene splicer at BIG MT if I recall, that I think was very much under-utilized. Mostly it just creates failed experiments that die or don't make a big difference. It might have been interesting if the player had been able to do something more important with it, maybe even changing oneself in some important way -- BIG MT is a strange enough of a setting to be able to pull it off.

There is not much devs can do with official DLCs. Remember, everything has to work on the consoles, too, that's what held them back, for the most part. If I remember, you couldn't even take the dog with you to the outside, must have been causing issues with the consoles(Altho I did glitch raul in there once, he had no problems)

Luckily we don't have to worry about holding back vegas anymore due to consoles.

Yeah really good if you like writing fan fiction. Big MTN is a great place to break all barriers so you can do all the crossovers in your fan fiction. Oh wait! you mean you didn't know about x3-44 the black hole maker that takes you to different dimensions and alternate realities?!?!?!

IIRC you could create a companion robodog there that will follow you as long as you are in the compound and yeah I also feel that the gene splicer was underutilized.

It could have had its own ending where you create a monster that would end all life in nevada(or maybe fart rainbows, who knows).

@Sonichu_fanboy do you mind if i ask how you glitched Raul in there? or was it just a random bug? i know there's mods for allowing companions in DLC areas but i'm wondering if i could tip off some console-playing friends about how to do it to make OWB easier on 'em

Would have been a lot of fun to endlessly splice whatever you could capture in Vegas with something else to see the results.
