There are a fair amount of smaller, underappreciated, funny, unique, and likable characters in Fallout that maybe do not get much dialogue or story importance at all, but you do get a kick out of them.

Who is your favorite joke character/NPC (meaning a character that is mostly or purely for comic relief that was inserted by the developers into the game as a joke or reference) in Fallout that has giving you a kick out of cleverness of the dialogue, reference, or just being downright hilarious?

(Mine might be Big Beard or Maud's Muggers )

100% No Bark Noonan, I don't even think I have to talk about him much, but he is one of my favourite joke characters ever. Or perhaps he is the only serious character and the rest are joke characters....

Mr. Fantastic in New Vegas, his lines are hilarious. "They asked me how well I understood theoretical physics. I told them I have a theoretical degree in physics. They said welcome aboard."

Ricky from the Honest Hearts DLC is pretty funny too. Tries to sell himself as a total bad-ass and a know it all, when in reality the guy's just a junkie.

I love Miria and Davin and their dad in Fallout 2. You can flirt with both of them and sleep with them. The next morning you wake up to their dad pointing a shotgun at you, saying that you have to marry them now. I haven't seen a scenario like that in a video game before or since (then again I haven't played stuff like the Persona series so maybe I'm missing out there)

Also really love Beatrix in the Old Mormon Fort in New Vegas. Never thought I'd run across a Dominatrix Cowboy Ghoul but that's what we got. I have no complaints:

The whole Sink at Big Mt and the Doctors too, absolute madness!

The toaster is hands down the best character in New Vegas.

I have to say it's between the Toaster and Muggy. I mean, both of them were created with a purpose they cannot possibly fulfill, but they handle it so differently it's hilarious.

Also, not quite a joke NPC but Myron (Fallout 2). Best adorable a**hole in the game.

I love the damn toaster, also entering Vault 108 in Fallout 3 just to shoot at screaming and retarded shit-ton of Garys.

The pariah dog in Fallout 2 is my favorite. Having it in your party reduced your luck to 0 and it not only never helped you in battle, but had to be killed for it to stop following you. Seems like a huge joke to me.

I think mine was Fisto from New Vegas just for the pure confusion then sudden realization of what was going on when you used his "specific" functions.

"Numbness will subside in several minutes."

I really Like the guy who got his legs beat in by the legion in Nipton Boxcar I think it was the way he reacts to your character is really funny NV did a great job of keeping you entertained and making you laugh while still upholding a serious and grave tone

Your brain at Big Mountain. It had me laughing during the entire conversation.

I loved the Hubologists from fallout 2, not the ones from 4, those one's are dumb. The Hubologists from 4 are pretty much the same, just a lot less significant and done worse. In fallout 2 they're this really ballsy cult that's parody of Scientology, they even have a fake Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman!

They're definitely more important than just for jokes, but pretty much the entire cast of Old World Blues never fails to put a smile on my face. Starting that DLC is like a ritual for me. Turn off subtitles, make sure I'm wearing a headset, and give that 30 minute pure gold intro my full attention. Love it.

Harold from fallout 2 seems very funny when he calls the character "Che you need a sodden"

Hands down Muggy, but honestly the whole S.I.N.K. is a riot
