I use whatever the situation requires. If a Deathclaw is running at me full speed for example, I'll gladly use VATS.

I like to use vats if I'm playing an unarmed character only because its gives you the ability to stomp on knocked down enemies.

I prefer bullet time over vats because in bullet time everything is under your control and one gets the sweet time to line up their shots straight for enemy's head  .

VATS for me it's good but i dont like using it often. I prefer actually shooting ppl in the face, I'm a sniper
SO basically...Bullettime > VATS. When i do use it

I prefer VATS but I try not to abuse it because it can be OP at times. I rarely find myself using VATS or bucket time.

I only use VATS when I'm totally screwed but I use bullet time when it's sniping time.

I use bullettime very often and recently I started to use VATS on some occasions.(especially when rescuing people from geckos,raiders etc.)
Currently I rolaplay an Android(Using Dragbody's Nanosuit along with ST Robot Race) and now using VATS feels more lorefrienly.

i like Bullet time better because I still feel like i'm a part of the shooting and sometimes it just looks badass

I use VATS on a sticky situations like Deathclaws, low health.
And I use Bullettime to snipe someone but I prefer VATS
because I rarely snipe someone.

I much prefer Bullet time over V.A.T.S just my opinion though.

V.a.t.s because bullet time is way too max payne for me lol I can't take any game seriously with bullet time if it isn't max payne, that's how I feel about it anyway.

I like V.A.T.S. It resembles the original targeting from Fallout 1&2 to me,so I enjoy it.

I think they both have there place in a game it depends on the situation in my opinion i cant really choose i guess:/

Well i like VATS more because of the different camera angles and such, while bullet time is more fast paced. But it all comes down to preference, so why not both?

Bullet time allows you to pretend to be a super-movie star. I really enjoy just whipping around corners in slow motion and dodging fire while blasting some knucklehead in the face with a shotty. But yeah, like shadow said, why not both?

I prefer vats because I get cool killcams, and it helps me target multiple enemies when the situation gets sticky. Bullet time is fun, but I never found it that useful.

I used to use VATS all the time. Now I kinda want a bullettime mod for clearing rooms, but I don't absolutely need it.
