Microsoft just revealed 7-8 games that are now BC and one of them was FNV. Now the biggest question is... does that mean NV will have console modding support in the future?
I honestly think it wouldn't be too hard to implement console modding support for FNV but I'm not sure they will pull the trigger on that. It will be interesting to hear what else is planned for FNV now.

Yeah, it's gonna be all out war once someone decides to steal dragbody's armors.
On the bright side though, if it's true then it would be one hell of a remaster if they decide to bring New Vegas to current gen. I for one would be excited for that.
Edit: Oh damn, didn't see that it would just be for backwards compatibility. Tis a shame. I'm a sad panda now.

I doubt modding support will be added to the console versions of New Vegas.
Game's nearly six years old now. I think the closest we'll get is some sort of sequel to New Vegas, but Obsidian's very busy right now.

Well Skyrim is 5 years old and they made console mods for it. So I wouldn't be surprised if Bethesda pulled that card. I admit it's unlikely FNV will have mod support but again I wouldn't be surprised.

I'm glad new vegas is finally getting backwards compatibility, although I don't need it, since I have a good pc now. I doubt they'd add mod support, mainly because it's obsidian's game and they don't really acknowledge it much if at all.
