+1 simply for the pure and brutal honesty, it is needed in these type of cases. I feel similar, but find it hard to hold back the creations I really enjoy that I make. I've been lucky so far, thankfully.

Thanks and +1 back at you, also I trust my friends IRL to the fullest, yet they can sign up themselves and rank-up on their own accord. I expect them to put forth the efforts to achieve access to colonial and higher, I won't let them rely on me at all (It would become a 'gimme-gimme when you got it' situation not long after unfortunately) to get what anyone can get by following the rules and not being out of line. It isn't hard to be decent and cordial, IMO. Cheers.

There's more to my way of thinking than random idiots who leak mods.  A russian 'modder' named Alex Kostoysov (known here as Tamler, elsewhere as Scyrim) who was taking credit for around 50GB of other modders' work, stealing my screenshots and taking credit for my videos (and thus, my work).

Even more incredulously, xxShepardxx and Xilandro found posts on russian forums where Tamler announced plans to steal a number of things from my Mass Effect project once I released it (like the animated Geth races I've done).  

That situation put an end to any plans I had to release the ME mod.  

We banned Tamler, but he's posting here again under a different name.  We made it clear that we know who he is, though.  I won't blow the whistle on his new ID - however tempted I am to do so - because he's never going to get his hands on my work.  And because he already knows that the best he can do - as far as modding goes - is stealing from others.
