Because, yeah. these games are massive and you always discover new things.

- Turbo and Flamethrowers make for an spectacular combination. Not sure why I never tried this earlier.

- Lonesome Road is better done early on. As in right at the beginning of the game. In terms of combat, this DLC is the best, filled with tough, well equipped enemies, but by the time I usually do it (when I have done pretty much everything else) I'm a titan in Power Armor armed with missiles and a Gatling Laser, so the marked men don't stand much of a chance. Doing it at the very beginning (in Very Hard + 4xHardcore + Jsawyer + Realistic Weapon Damage) finally brings some challenge (the fun kind, not the frustrating kind) to the game. Plus, it gives me access to high quality equipment and solves my money issues right of the bat.

- Fantastic can join the Legion. So, this one I found out through the wiki, but I only found out because I looked up something related, so it counts. Anyway, Fantastic is a great character and a very compelling reason to not support the NCR. But turns out, if you activate Archimedes security, wiping out the NCR, but leave him alive, next time you find him he will be wearing legion armor, saying that he's riding the winds of change.

- Daisy, the old enclave lady, mentions that throughout her time with the Enclave, she only crashed a vertibird once, outside of Klamath. This is a reference to Fallout 2. I distinctly remember the vertibird she's talking about because finding it was the moment that made me rage quit Fallout 2.

- The K9000 and FIDO are actually pretty amazing weapons. It's too bad they're so disturbing. And that no one has made a high quality retex.

- The GRX Implant makes dead money insanely easy. Diving into the cloud, disarming explosives, disabling speakers... you name it. They go so slowly that it's not an issue anymore. Plus, it lets you steal all the gold. No exploits, no gimmicks... all you need to do it use the implant and you can just walk out with the gold.

- There's no limit to how much I can hate Ulysses. Everytime I hear him talk I actually hate the character even more.

- I found Frank Weathers. I had seen his enslaved family before, but I had never seen him.

- The first part of Birds of a Feather (where you have to guard the door) is hilarious if you don't act the way you're supposed to. Meaning not patting down or being rude to the clients.

- Speaking of the Van Graff's, thanks to the crude stealth system, it's not only possible but easy to steal all the merchandise with them still there in the store.

I like the idea of having two Couriers face off against each other, but I dislike Ulysses. I think he acts like a pretentious philosophy grad who thinks he's some kind of moral authority despite being a literal who. I still don't understand what he wants. So Caesar's Legion is great because the old world is lost? Umm, so why are you trying to bring back the hierarchal structure of the Roman Imperium? Aren't those two incompatible ideas?

In lore though, I like his character. He's well spoken, hard boiled and saves Christine. He's like a mysterious stranger up until you meet him during his emo phase.

@Heisenberg When I say I hate him, I don't mean he should be removed from the game. He's great as an antagonist, precisely because he's deranged, hateful and moronic.

Some people you can immediately tell they're idiots because they sound like idiots (if someone uses the word "deadass" for instance, that's a great tell). Some people know how to sound intelligent, but when you listen to what they say, they gave themselves away.

I rarely listen to what he says beyond the necessary dialogue because the way he speaks makes me roll my eyes. I wouldn't call that well spoken. It's the rhythm he uses, which is always the same, how overtly dramatic he always is... Someone who is well spoken is someone who makes you want to listen to more. He just makes me wish he would shut up.

Anyway, I was listening to one of his logs, which I either never found before, or did find but didn't want to listen. He's talking about the Whitelegs and says something about the "weapons so powerful even the Brotherhood might desire". When it dawns on me that he's talking about the Tommyguns, I had to pause the game and take a moment to physically assimilate that. Holy $#@! this guy is a moron. Think about how cartoonish his understanding of the world is that that's what he considers impressive, a 300 year old SMG. He might be wearing better clothes but he's still a tribal.
