Now when I say BIG, I dont mean in content or map size. I mean in terms of endorsements or popularity(although to be honest more often then not big maps and lots of content usually go hand in hand with popular mods.)
While I am sure the second you guys joined a modding website like nexus you jumped right on the armors or the companions first and eventually came to quests, I am curious as to what was your first big quest mod? What was your first step into Man-made stories and missions?
For example, My first quest mod was D.E.I.M.O.S which funny enough is how I also discovered Alchestbreach. I was stuck on a part and looked for a way around it, and found the man himself.

Project Brazil. God damn the quest mod so was so awesome. It felt like I was playing a new DLC.

My first big quest mod was New Vegas Bounty I. Even then I did not know how great decision I made, because then I chose this mod only reason that Nexus is one of the most endorsed mod and displayed a me one of the first mods

Not sure if this was a "big" quest mod in terms of popularity, as I played it a long time ago, and don't remember the name, but it was a mod that let you join/enlist into the NCR army.

I can't remember the name, but basically you started as a simple trooper, and made your way through the ranks. There was lots of different missions to do. Like patrolling a certain area, or a search and destroy mission. You could also choose your your affectation if your rank was high enough, like you could choose to be affected to the Rangers, or the 1st Recon squad, and so on.
All and all it was a good quest mod. Also, I think it's voice acted, not professional level, but still, it was quite good. Not sure if it was the last mission of the mod, but in the end you had to defend Camp Golf against a Legion attack. There were lots of NPC's and it made the battle laggy as hell because of the poor computer I had at the time. If my memory serves me right, it's kind of an old mod, cause I think the dlc's weren't all released at the time. Took a quick look through the nexus, but can't find it.


That said, the first "big" quest mod, in terms of popularity, that I played, was New Vegas Bounties. I downloaded it cause it was one the most endorsed and downloaded quest mod on the nexus. and i thought that a bounty hunting mod would be cool. I was happy to be able to have bounty/assassination quests to do. But I'd never thought I would get so immersed into the story. And since NVBII was already out, and Russell and Inheritance were out too, I just played the whole someguy2000 serie, and became an instant fan. Most of you must have already played them, so I don't have to tell you how good Someguy's mods are. But, I honestly never thought I could find such good quests mods. He just took it to another level, specially in terms of writing. Back to NVB I, despite its simplicity, and its flaws, it's still one of the best quest mod for New Vegas, in my opinion.

Tales from the Commowealth for Fallout 4 was my first.I think I just got done finishing up Nuka world and wanted to squeeze a little more out of fallout 4.But I pretty much had done everything.
And I think I saw MXR reviewing Tales from the commonwealth in one of his videos.

So I went on the Nexus and saw it had a ton of downloads and endorsements so I figured eh why not.And I loved it.To be honest I was shocked at how good it was.Everything from the characters to the quests were really well done.I loved just wandering around and running into these random places and npcs and doing they're little quest lines.
I mean Bethesda should take notes from the people who made this mod because a lot of the quests from Tales of the Commonwealth were a lot more fun and interesting than the ones from the vannila game.

Probably my first big one was the NVB mods by someguy. That's the first ones I remember atleast

New Vegas Bounties for me, god that was an amazing mod.

I'm in the same boat as everyone else New Vegas bounties was such a fun time i played it with my cowboy character and it felt like i was a actual bounty hunter.

First big quest mod... hmmm.

Maybe Nightmare Realm for Fallout 3 by WilliamSea. Or, Mothership Zeta Crew. Little bit later I played A Quest for Heaven. And that series BLEW ME AWAY.

New Vegas Bounties, that mod was great. The entire Someguy series was awesome.

Was either New Vegas Bounties (hope someguy returns with something for Fallout 4...) or Project Brazil which I hope gets finished!!

I wasn't really into quest mods all that much because a lot of them didn't have voice acting and that was a big turn off for me. But ever since I played Beyond Boulder Dome for FNV, that turn off has since disappeared.

New Vegas Bounties 1 was my first and still one of my favorites. Ever since I played without mods I wished that I could roleplay as a bounty hunter, and NVB1 brought my fantasy to life.

New Vegas Bounties I was my first and most favorite large quest mod.

When i started modding New Vegas i searched for good quests, and the first one that popped up was New Vegas Bounties I. So that was my first big quest mod

New Vegas Bounties 1 , pure magic

DUST. I never finished it. I both like and dislike DUST. It seems really cool, with the survival element and all, but it's only goal was to "Escape the Mojave". I haven't played deep enough into it, it simply became boring with the utter lack of things to do besides survive. Great mod if you like that sort of thing but I need a little more. But if there is more, someone let me know or give a recommendation.

In Fallout NV it was the New Vegas Bounties 1 and it was glorious.

Project Brazil for FO3, then I played Vault 101 Revisited and then New Vegas Bounties I for NV.
