hi guys and girls, im attempting to make a cyborg robot hand but i cant get my head around blender and nifskope

basically im using the hand in the picture but needed something to cover up the wrists so i took a basic wrist strap and tried to cover up one end of the wrist
for some reason anything i export out of blender just looks weird in game, any ideas?
what ive been doing is editing the mesh in blender,exporting it, then copying the NiTriStripsData and pasting over into the new one
