ENB random Blue Glare

Hey there

I have this issue I'd like to solve

I've seen it before when I equipped my aesthetic cigarette (I figured that the glowing tip must have been the cause). But it's really not that bad, it only appears from a very small specific angle

However, now that I'm in the DC, I've noticed it on all the Chinese Pistols
Whether they're dropped (on a table or on the floor) or equipped (in hand or holstered, even on NPCs), this happens:


Very strong blinding blue glare

If I disable ENB it goes away (the SunFlare and other glare options are disabled, only bloom is on)
also, if I move around a bit (or if the other NPC turns) it goes away


but mostly, it just blinds me wherever it is
the angles that the effect appears from are pretty wide

have you had this issue with other gear? have you found the problem?

I've checked the .nif in nifskope and I couldn't find anything strange
it's a normal FO3 chinese pistol with sighting node added to it
it works as it should, but the glare pisses me off >.>

Did you turn off everything the ENB creator told you to?I had the same issue a while back where it covered 75% of the screen no matter what I equipped.So I turned off bloom and lens,and that did the trick.

nah, I only had the problem with very specific meshes. you must've had a different error. I don't use lens, but bloom is alright for now.

well here's the cigarette I mentioned


roflcopter (I think) or Torki showed me a link to a mod that fixed the leather backpack from emitting that aweful blue glare

the author of the fix said that all he had to do is open the file in nifskope, select the branch that bugged out, Right Click, go to Mesh and use "Update Tangent Space", then save

I did that and it worked!
