its a really awesome mod i love how they made it look like it could pass the lore by the courior being the vault dweller and all the mod can def take a toll on your Ram so if you are using a old PC it can be a bad experience

I agree with everyone, it's a must have mod. It takes a while to setup the installation, you need to be trough checking out the conflicts list, and the conversion system. I'd say overall it took me 3 hours to setup the whole install, but it's totally worth it. If you do it right you get close to no bugs/glitches, which is good because you can focus on actually playing the game.

What I like most is how, if you mod it right, DC is really 10 times more dangerous than the Mojave, and you get to really experience how Fallout 3 should have been in every way, things like Project Nevada or all the gameplay mods for NV make it really awesome. Don't get me wrong , Fallout 3 well modded is pretty fun, but this is just awesome.

Plus, after completing DC and moving on to LA; you really feel it's justified for your character to be an absolute badass, since he has years of experience and accomplishments behind, even if he doesn't remember.

Overall, great mod.

its personally my favorite "mod" as i hated the Mojave wasteland because there where very little area to scavenge and i loved that about fallout 3 id walk through the DC ruins finding random building and scraping for equipment to repair my weapons while wearing a worn jacket the immersion was amazing not to mention gathering scraps to craft some weapons.

then i played in the Mojave and found myself thinking "oh look that rock over their is a different shade of brown and was shaped slightly different"

you seethe contrast? lol

now combine the two then it gets downright orgasmic with fallout new vegas's mechanics and weapons but in a better fallout map

It's worth trying if you enjoy both Fallout games, however, you need to be very cautious with what mods you use and pay very close attention to their instillation directions and compatibility page along with the requirements for the mod itself. Just read everything and you'll be okay!

Its a life saver mod for me because I cant play Fallout 3 GOTY without it crashing to desktop every 5 minutes so yeah its a pretty amazing mod.
