So I just got done playing Project Brazil and I had no idea it was an Alternate Start Mod. I loved the story, the acting, the radio's (those alone made this worth the d/l). However, having also used "Roleplayer's Alternative Start" it made me kind of wonder which was the better way to start a game. I think Project Brazil is good for kind of a 'secret origin,' but Roleplayer's Alternative Start is a good comprehensive built-in character sheet if you will...

I was just curious what you guys thought, and if there were any other mods similar to these two that I might've missed. I really like them - it's so much better than getting revived by Doc Mitchell for the 84th time. Keeps the excitement of starting a new playthrough alive.

I have to say if you want to play the original quests of new vegas along with mods pick roleplayers start but if you want a alternate main quest pick project brazil as it is set in an entirely new environment and quest line then pick that. There is are also some alternate start mods with which you play as the courier but are also a NCR trooper or belong to other factions.

Project Brazil is the best one. It's has high quality content and voice acting and everything else.
