| Fallout New Vegas is one of my favourite games of all time, mainly because it provided you with the base to become a pistol wielding gunslinger with the large range of handguns in the game.
I was talking with my friends, and they all seem to think That Gun, is the best weapon in pistol in Fallout, but I stuck firm with Maria.
What is your guys opinion on the best pistol in any Fallout? |

| I mean, the debug pistol is undeniably the best gun in the game.
But for legitimately obtained weapons, I think the Mysterious Magnum is a good solid weapon. High damage, good accuracy, fires fast enough, and easily obtainable. Or Lil' Devil. That thing is a good pistol. I'd say the hunting revolver and ranger sequoia were good too, but I found the slow rate of fire too big of a drawback. Sure, they dish out considerable damage, but not enough to kill tougher enemies in one or two hits. The MM and Lil' both have pretty good damage and can fire fast so you can use them to take out tougher enemies. |

| That gun is my go to. Plentiful ammo, good damage, bonus to crit chance, not to mention best looking weapon in the game imo. The mysterious magnum is fun just for the sound effect _________________ |

| For a western-y gunslinger, either the Mysterious Magnum or the Ranger Sequoia. For general, modern gunfighter... Maria is probably pretty good, for both style and stats. For cyberpunk, go with That Gun, but make sure to use this mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/56146 |

| The .45 is a very satisfying gun to fire and I can't explain why. _________________ "It's 106 miles to Arroyo, we've got a full fusion cell, half a pack of RadAway, it's midnight, and I'm wearing a 50 year old Vault 13 jumpsuit. Let's hit it." |

I can, it's a heavy pistol with a lot of punch and a great sense of impact. I just wish that it was a little easier to aim, I feel like the sights are off a bit at times. I also modded all of mine to resemble M1911A1's with this: https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/48913?tab=description |

| The pistols you pick up playing the New Vegas Bounties series are some of the best guns you can have in any New Vegas playthroughs out there, they're really something else.
Standard pistols I always used were always based on how they looked, so for years I'd use the Chinese Pistol in Fallout 3 when playing on console simply because I think the Mauser just looks so cool. That Gun probably takes it for both looks, availability and being able to use it to the end game. Some AP rounds in that thing can put down pretty much anything _________________ "We're not tools of the government, or anyone else. | I'd have to give that title to the Ranger Sequoia for its sheer power output. I like blowing off enemy limbs and one shotting them and the Sequoia is so good with that.I'm well aware that it shares the same ammo type with the Medicine Stick, but I don't really use that weapon so often because I prefer the Paciencia for its bolt action mechanism (yes i love bolt action weapons so much).
Another weapon that could be a best pistol would be the A Light Shining in Darkness because of how fast it can be fired, quick reload, and it's pretty light to carry around too. The ammo isn't a huge problem for me here because it doesn't take so much ammo to kill anything with it. I mean it wouldn't make sense if I go toe to toe against a deathclaw using that pistol lol get something bigger for the big guy. |

| Bit of an underdog here but I'm gonna say the Weathered 10mm pistol. It's not glamorous or sleek but it's a very proficient death dealer with abundant ammo, a solid fire rate and fast reloads. It feels nice(If you have an animation mod that makes it feel nice of course) and honestly that thing can carry you most, if not all the way through the game if you play your cards right. |

I had two issues with the Weathered 10mm. 1) I never really liked how the 10mm pistols looked, very clunky and junky looking. 2) I didn't like that it was just GIVEN to me at the start of the game, as with all the DLC packages. However, I will concede that both issues can be "fixed" with mods. |
