| Hey guys! I'm pretty new here, decided to write a short introduction. Name's Alácrès. I'm a tech nerd and a gaming nerd. I usually post on mod forums when someone asks for help if i have found a solution. I've been interested in Fallout for a long time now and decided to replay all games from the beginning. Loved 1 & 2, modded 3 & 4 & New Vegas heavily. But stumbled across a problem with Fallout 3 and Fallout Character overhaul. Children eyes have double irises and i can't find a fix for it. I dont have any NPC altering mods and all Google searches show only of Fallout New Vegas character overhaul having problems with NVR ( solved it on my end ), but I got a problem with Fallout 3. Any ideas of what could help? I did archive invalidation and other possible fixes I could find even new eyes which just made all eyes having a milky overlay almost as people would be blind |

| Drag & drop? What exactly? I'm using Vortex. Was very familiar with MO when I modded my Skyrim and Wrye Bash for Oblivion. Vortex doesn't really have drag & drop feature. I do use LOOT to sort the load order. I've tried my best reinstalling FCO but doesn't seem to work |

| Yep, been enjoying the amazing work You people have put here. Some people say that putting assets from one game into another ain't work, but I say it is. Takes the mind of an artist to notice which games go together well and which don't. I checked out many mods. All of them are very nice, been using New Vegas Redesigned 3 for New Vegas too. Currently playing Fallout 3. I hope You guys enjoy it here too. As of FCO- manual download You say? Okay, will try it out. Any specific place in load order it should be? |

| @Alacres - welcome to GUN! FCO is a seriously old mod which means nothing in and of itself. Full disclosure: I have not used it, but it does have some curious installation tips. First off, manual install simply means move the mods assets to the appropriate place in your data folder, same with the esp. Make sure you activate the esp in whatever mod manager you use. The odd bit I saw on the mod page had to do with Archive Invalidation: - Spoiler:
Install with NMM or FOMM, there is a FOMOD installer in the archive. Or use the manual installation and drag and drop the data folder to your data folder in the Fallout New Vegas folder. After installing make sure to toggle Archive Invalidation off then on.
That's very specific and easily missed. It also had some incompatibility with mods I did use. I made the choice not to use FCO because of this: - Spoiler:
- This mod currently is not compatible with any mod that adds new eyes or hair (Lings & Mikoto) purely because the hairs/eyes would have to be added to all my custom races (which is a lot), a compatibility patch is very easy to make with a basic knowledge of FNVEdit. If you really want a patch and want to upkeep it with whenever I update this feel free to make one and I will add it to my installer and credit you. or upload it on a separate mod page i don’t mind.
Don't know if any of that rings a bell with your installation, but it might. Anyway, welcome to an easy place to hang out. |

| Thanks for the tips. I'm not new to modding. Been modding for about 4 years now. FCO just gave me a headache of getting it to work properly. Manual install did the trick. Also - somehow I made it work with Lings. No problems at all, all eyes, hairs and everything available even on custom races FCO gave. And thanks for the welcome |

| Double eye bug is a pretty common problem when modding Bethesda games. I ran into a nasty case of it playing Oblivion the other day. Welcome aboard. |
