Lately, I've decided to go back and read a lot of Warhammer Fantasy lore. I grew up with 40k cause my local comic shop hosted tournaments, I have to say I believe the Warhammer fantasy world is much more grounded and, in some aspect, much more gritty.

Compared to the silliness of 40k, I just found all the characters better and everything wasn't complete and utter despair like some of the books I've read from 40k. Do you guys have a particular favorite?

I’ve never played the tabletop game Nor read any of the books (yet), but based on my wiki readings I’d choose fantasy. Don’t look at my steam library for that though, I’ve probably spent more time in DoW II than all my warhammer fantasy games combined (2). That’s just me as an outsider

I HIGHLY recommend the books. Yeah I play a lot of all the warhammer games mostly total war Warhammer tho. I have to say the wiki is a great place to start, the lore for everything is pretty realistic and I love how each race is based off on a culture from our reality. I can't think of a better fantasy setting. It's not overly corny either. B

BTW do you read? I can literally link you ALL of the literature I have. as long as you keep it to yourself.
