Howdy again good people, it is I! Your friendly neighborhood Legend!
Now some of you may or may not remember me... but I had returned for some time back around.. oh... late 2016-ish? Some of you remembered me from the old VGU, others not-so-much. I had returned then, and all was swell; it was more-or-less like old times. Then I disappeared for awhile due to my wife becoming pregnant of all things. Sadly, my time became so strapped I was unable to pop back in, so I was marked as "inactive" as-per the rules mandate; sad... but that's how it is. Queue one year later and I am now the proud father of a healthy 4½ MO baby boy. :3
What a cutie! And he's so close to sitting up too, I can't wait. Anyway... I figured it was time to pop out of the ol' GUN Coffin and make myself known once again and such. I'll be popping in again, so I look forward to seeing you all in the coming days. :)
TL;DR: I'm back! Glad to see you all again.

Sure thing, and thanks for the welcome! Yeah, just a bit. It requires a few mods to get going. The first one is called "Life" created by.... some deity thing. I apparently got it stored in a zip file somewhere, would have to find it. The next one is called "The Female Component".
Once you have those installed, you just gotta launch the game and wait about 40 weeks IRL-time, and voila. You'll have one of those magnificent little critters crawling about. I highly recommend you check it out. Sometimes they cry... sometimes they giggle like crazy. Fortunately, I mostly get the latter (until it comes to feeding time anyway). :P
I've already heard something about this mod, wait...that's it ! After several months there is a mandatory major update called mother 2.0 that makes impossible to uninstall it and return to girlfriend 1.0, which offered the more advantages concerning this mod. Once installed, others updates will follow during several years and the last one is grandmother and grandchildren 1.0. But at this time it won't be a problem anymore because you'll have stopped playing video games since several years

Haha, I actually find Mother 2.0 is a lot better in terms of giving me time to rest once in awhile... I intend to keep playing the vidya games for as long as I possibly can anyway. :3 Gotta show the kiddy how to play old school, y'know? I grew up on Mario Bros. and the like. Appreciate the classics, as they say.

Hey, thanks @Evmeister, and howdy! Glad to see you're still around. Yeah.... it's been a rather rough year, but now that things are finally settling down, I can finally hop back on here and commune with all you. Seems I sadly lost my status though... something about my browser auto-logging me into the website so I got seen as one of them "lurker" types.
Protip: NEVER set GUN as your homepage if you're inactive. It won't work out too well for you.
On the other hand, I've also got quite a few games I've been checking out when I have the time to do so. I got Destiny 2 going on PC, and I play some Starbound every now and again. I've got enough to keep me busy when the baby isn't, haha.

Haha, only 4 months. Yeah... that VGU Vets rank only really applies to people the staff or certain folks who I haven't quite seen in some time actually "remember" you. I'm a myth you see... so not a lot of people did, haha. Imma just take my time to re-adjust to things again.

Welcome back and congrats on the baby! They do indeed grow up fast, my daughter is about to turn 11! Enjoy time with your son, I'm sure when he gets older you two will be gaming together!
