Subject: Anyone know what's happened to Dracomies? Sun Feb 11, 2018 12:06 pm
Just wanted to ask if anyone knows anything about the mod author Dracomies, and whether anyone has been in touch with them recently.
I've been following their work religiously for a good few years, but recently they seem to have dropped off the planet, which is a shame because their re-voiced Brave New World mod was shaping up to look amazing.
So any word on the sudden disappearance? Personal reasons, overworked, putting project on hold? It's one of those things where, because Dracomies has seemed to make no recent posts lately, we're left in that horrible internet suspense knowing that anything could've happened.

i think i read on reddit that he is still working on it just no news or videos not really sure though

@Visible Earth I went on his Casting Call profile and the most recent update in casted voice actors was around September-November it seems. He did say that he is adding new stuff along with BNW like more NPCs, cut NPCs, and basically more situations to make the reputations of certain areas more believable(If you tried out optional his Casa Madrid plugin for NVR3, then you'll get an idea of what he's trying to go for BNW).
EDIT: It seems that the latest update was around August 12 of last year, not September-November.

It's a big project, and I understand that it'll take time (especially if he's doing it on his own) just seems strange that, after we'd had multiple updates over several months, they suddenly just stopped.
Hoping he's okay and that the project's kept on-rolling. Seemed like he was makin' great progress.

It seems like he goes off the grid every once in a while. We all need a break from modding, especially when it comes to a mod with that caliber. Hopefully we get to see A Brave New World this year. Hey a man can dream
