So, been enjoying having more power with my ASUS AMD RX480 (if you prefer nVidia, that's cool, my budget led my decision) and wondering what other peoples experiences have been when running Fallout 4. Any tips and boosting the performance as far as possible?

Running in 1080.

Well I guess it doesn't matter though if you have an AMD or NVIDIA graphics card when playing Fallout 4. Bethesda should have taken the gamebryo engine out the back and shot it years ago.

Honestly your hardware isnt going to be an issue. dont worry about upgrading for now if your just playing Fo4. that being said, moded versions, well, thats going to suck since the 480 will be limited in its rendering ability, meaning if you have a lot of geometry in your screen, its going to drop about 10-15 ish fps especialy during gore, where there are a lot of splater. I would say the GPU more than anything else is the weak chain. Sorry, but it is what it is. worth every penny though. the value is amazing

Yeah the card may not be the greatest but, it's handling other games fine, Battlefield 1, Far Cry Primal, No Man's Sky, Doom 4, all on high/ultra settings a doddle.
