I would say Preston but i feel like thats a little generic so ill say who i honest to god hate, the son hes so 0 sum your ether with him or against him , I guess you could say that about alot of things in fallout but it shows in your son

@"igniter55" Idk man. He's pretty okay with whatever decision you decide to go with. You can do things your way in pretty much every aspect when it comes down to HOW things get done. But sure, I suppose in the end your'e either FOR the Institute, or against it.

My is Cook Cook, his one of the worst human beings I have ever seen in my entire life. I don't enjoy killing what so ever in games or whatnot, but with him... He had it coming and I would do it again and again.

I think it's a Dean Domino and Caesar. First, for obvious reasons (such asshole must still search). The second for the creation of the Legion, and forced assimilation.

New Vegas: General Oliver. A lot of things could be solved in the NCR if he wasn't in charge. He's a glory hound, throwing away morale and lives until the "epic final battle".

Fallout 4: Preston Garvey, cant do anything on his own, forces it on me when I just want to save my son. Cant be killed.

While I haven't played Fallout 1 & 2 yet (really need to get around to it), of all the Fallout games I've played...

Fallout 3: Colonel Autumn. I remember when I first played Fallout 3 that I really liked the Enclave and the Outcasts over the BoS in the game. But then Autumn showed up and I just wanted to kill him the first chance I get with how annoying he got at times. That and I thought that I could actually join the Enclave if I did that or something...
Also that random BoS solider that automatically accuses you for blowing up the citadel in Broken Steel (if you decide to that is). How did he find out that you were the one who did it anyways?

New Vegas: There isn't any too many characters I don't like in this game... Well maybe the Mick & Ralph's crier and the guy that survived the Nipton lottery. I always shot him before he initiates a conversation with me.

Fallout 4: Preston seems to get a lot of hate and while I understand the reasons behind it, if they didn't have the whole "another settlement needs your help" and that, at least he can be a bit useful in that he is a companion and help you in battles.
I would've also said Shaun but I didn't have any emotional attachment for him so I feel indifferent.
I don't like the Railroad too much either but it's mainly because of how the game treated quests and stuff that just made them really annoying. But was more then happy to shower their base with mini-nukes when I had the chance.
Mama Murphy is probably the character I'm most annoyed with. I still remember the first time I encountered her after saving Preston & crew that she really creeped me out whenever she spoke to me and just annoyed me to the point where I just don't want to go near the museum in concord anymore just so she ain't hanging around Sanctuary all the time.

Hate, as in an okay - well written character who I dislike, or hate as in "wew, what a shit show"; the former would be Myron from F2; the latter would be a tie between Moira and the entire population of Little Lamplight/Big Town from F3.

I would say the original Sanctuary settler in FO4 (Mama Murphy, Jun and Marcy Long). But mostly Jun and Marcy. One is a guy who just can't stop being sad and depressing, while the other one just can't stop being angry at the world. It may be the end of the world, but jeez you don't have to tell me all your problems.

A close second would be Roy Phillips and Tenpenny, those two are two sides of the same coin. Sometimes I would just kill everybody in that quest.
