| @Darkscarf: Phasma mentioned that he was due for reconditioning due to his lack of subservience. The comics even touch on that, mentioning that he had too much empathy but due to his exceptional combat prowess, let it go. The problem about movies this scale is that not everything fits into the film. However, I do wish that the crawl would inform us more of everything rather than forcing us to go home and trawl the wiki for answers. I can't, however, agree with the black and white characters in TFA: especially compared to the Original Trilogy, the characters were a lot more uncertain and human. _________________ |

| @dazzerfong ive always beeen extremely enamored with both clones and stormtroopers, I do hate how under powered they exibit them in rebels, I can say that there aim has vastly imrpoved since the original trilogy. They were at the very least hitting target's. |

| Lol kind of enamored lets not sound like a fanatic, the new armor was dope, particularlt the heavy armor. I was somehow underwhelmed by phasmas armor. The whole chrometrooper appeal was lost on me. |

| Whoa, whoa. Is this the right discussion thread? Ah who cares I'll just copy paste this post to the right thread. Okay guys, I messed up with the lore. Apparently the New Republic and TFO are NOT at war. They are locked in some kind of Cold War and the New Republic is funding the Resistance instead of waging full on war. Sorry about that. Also, the battle of Jakku was the last major battle between the New Republic and the Galactic Empire. Several years later they signed a peace treaty and the Galactic Empire was relegated to a handful of systems near the unknown regions. The Galactic Empire slowly vanished over time but some members reoorganized the Unknown regions of the Galaxy and started the First Order, which then began to proceed with conquest. If you don't know Star Wars Galactic geography much I'll post a map. _________________ "Sheogorath is already inside each of us. You have already lost." |

| I thoroughly enjoyed it,choreography of the fights didnt seem unrealistic, as kylo ren fought savagely, and rey fought like she was new to ls combat, it didn't seem just to play off nostalgia, and the old characters (han solo, luke leia) seem as if their handing the torch to the new characters, really the only thing i didn't like was the new deathstar, the 1rst one was a small moon, the 2nd was just bigger, and despite being in a planet, it just seems like a bigger death star, either way it wasn't atrocious like the prequels, and obviously a lot of love was put into it. |

| Finally watched this today, after a week late release here. Really amazing, now my new favourite order is 5,7,6,4,3,2. And am I the only guy who cried a little when Han died? T_T _________________ What doesn't kill you, gives you XP. - My Achievements:

| I enjoyed the film but I don't think it was a 10, I gave it a 7. The villain Kylo Ren was just a whiny Vader Wannabe. Would liked him more if he was more of a leader. Good story in all and look forward to the next movie. _________________ |

| That's a really good movie but for me, my favourite star wars is the 3rd (Sith's revenge) Rip Han Solo. |

| This is a tough one for me. Now I love, and I do so mean love the Star Wars series, and the Force Awakens was one of the best films of 2015, but I had 2 gripes with it: They killed off Han Solo (Call me a fanboy, but he was one of the most essential characters to the original story and it seemed like bullshit to me that they killed off one of the best characters in the series by a newly created wuss of a sith that has no significant history or backstory yet), and Disney declared the pre-buyout extended universe noncanon and created a whole new story (It just pisses me off so much that they would just throw away the decades of work from before and after the events of the movies. The Rakata, The Mandalorian Wars, Revan, Admiral Thrawn, the Yuuzhan Vong, all meaningless to the official story). Still, that didn't hinder my enjoyment too much. 8/10. _________________ |

harrison ford wanted han solo to die since the Return of the Jedi. i also heard he didn't want to be in Force Awakens unless they killed off han solo. _________________ |

| @Havoc I just saw you main post, and while I haven't read all the main posts that followed(it only released here on the 25th), The New Republic is all discussed in Aftermath. One of the main things they did was remove any sort of army. But since it's been 30 years, all the good guys(Mon Mothma etc. who were crucial in the Alliance during the OT)have all since died or retired and the new members are either corrupt, power hungry or ignorant. Plus the increasing threat of The First Order and the Republic's inadequacy to to anything created The Resistance, an off-shoot military operation led by General Leia Organa which secretly tries to foil the plans of The First Order and gather enough info so as the Republic will finally take swift action. This comes too late as the main capital of the New Republic (Chandrila, not Coruscant) gets destroyed due by the Sunsucker weapon. | I personally thought it was all in all great. I disliked the fact that Han Solo died, but his story was at an end. I thought the effects and action were pretty great and my favorite was the Air battles, they almost immersed into a battle itself. And like others have said, 30 years have passed anything is possible. Though i would've loved to see more of this new republic and more resistance fighters (barely got to see a soldiers uniform). The jokes were great, i thought. I can't wait for the next installment to this. I want to see more of the first order and republic. _________________ |

| I loved it. The acting was amazing, and the characters were likable. I didn't like the fact that Phasma was worthless throughout the movie, though. _________________ |

| I like Kylo Ren a lot more than Rey or any of the other main characters besides Han (RIP). I really hope he gets more screen time. I'd go so far as to say I dislike Rey, she seems uninteresting and has no motivation, I see a lot of narrative potential with Kylo Ren. |

| It was a good movie a 10/10 in my book. R.I.P. Han Solo . I have a hunch that Luke will be killed by Kylo Ren the same way Obi Wan Kenobi was killed in Episode 8, but that's just my thought. Was the best movie of 2015 for sure. _________________ - My Achievements:

| I've been kinda dissapointed with that move. Scenario guys decided to kill the guy, who pulled all those new heroes together almost in no time. Who's next? |

| The movie is wonderful, but everyone is hated because of this movie like the new hope,Lucas hate this movie for this reason too,he told that he want every movie need to be original, but what Lucas have done when he try to be original? He done a prequel trilogy, and if some question me,what you will watch the force awakens or the prequels I would be chose the force awakens, but not all of prequels are bad, they are make the way to the Clone Wars ,because come on nobody cares about clones, instead they make the clone wars. |
