I would have to say Revan,

Vader was 2nd to Palpatine, and canonically Palpatine was the most powerful sith.

However, Revan was a Dark Lord of the Sith. We are comparing a shadow of what could've become the strongest Jedi in the known Universe to a Dark Lord of the Sith.

Yes Vader was powerful, but he was and could never be as powerful as he could've been and he was leagues from Palpatine (that was precisely the reason Palpatine choose Vader, his new "rule of one").

Midichlorians counts and the force work through flesh and blood, alot of which Vader has lost. Though he was powerful for his time, had he been in the old republic I don't think he would've fared as well.

I always thought Vader relied on more brute strength rather than tactics, skill, or force powers someone can probably correct me on this if otherwise. But thats why I am gonna have to go Revan on this one

Also Palpatine deliberately made it so Vader will never reach his true potential and will always be an underling, infact he was going to be replaced because he was so broken.

My point exactly, Palpatine could've left Anakin lying there in the Lava. He could've found someone else as he did with Dooku and Maul, but he had something better. Someone who would never be able to overpower him or defy him but yet was powerful enough to hunt down the remaining jedis and to exact his plans to rule over the galaxy.

Revan on the other hand was a Dark Lord of the Sith, he was no apprentice. Some argue that with the new MMO Revan was manipulated to do the things he did in Kotor, but nonetheless he did them on his own accord. He turned to the Dark Side after winning the Mandalorian Wars and turned on the Jedis. There was no guidance or direction, he won those battles due to his abilities as a leader and as a tactician.

Although Vader could have become stronger in the force and physically than Revan if Palpatine didn't do what he did, Revan has the advantage in strategy for sure and, because of Palpatine, most other things but brute force. So I'm going with Revan

In terms of pop culture impact - Darth Vader. All sith lord characters that followed or will be following after him might seem or look better but no one comes close to the way he first came on to the scene. Pretty sure he has his footprints on the hollywood walk of fame. Not sure if any other sith lord character has done it.

Pretty sure Revan would win I mean it's not like vader has his life support system on his chest or anything... Not to mention he actually lacks the ability to use a light saber properly after becoming vader he found himself to be slow and sluggish as opposed to his younger self. His suit also restricts some force abilities. The only thing vader has over revan is the fact he is the chosen one. Other than that raven should be fare superior plus the fact revan was an actual sith lord were as vader an apprentice. They are equal in force power.

Obviously Revan. If Anakin had not turned to the dark side he would of been the most powerful user of the force. I do not know if he would have been the most powerful sith lord. I feel like him going to the dark side cut off his potential whether or not he got injured.

I'll say Vader because he has more force like choke and other things plus he is the powerful sith lord.

I feel like it would really come down to Revan vs Anakin Skywalker if he wasn't burned alive. Vader lost many powers due to his losing his arms as well as relying on a respirator. Revan would be my choice... simply because I don't have a basis of what Vader could have become. And Revan controlled the Star Forge without it destroying him as well as having the willpower to throw it away
