Hey all, has anyone ever played Star Wars Galaxies while the servers were live (Pre-CU or prior to PRE-CU)

I haven't played Star Wars Galaxies, but I hope that someday i'll be able to. I've seen some videos of the game on YT and I was amazed on how it looked.

Well the official game servers have been shut down permanently, but people have created an Emulator thats online and running now, all you need is the original game discs to download and a patch so you can log in to their servers

You have to look online (I originally got mine on Ebay in 2005 when the original servers were still online). They don't sell them in stores anymore because SOE shut down the servers permanently for it.
Look for "Star Wars Galaxies: The Total Experience" multi-pack

I love star wars galaxies!!! played it for 7 years, i was a ship builder, droid builder, house furniture builder, i built a few citys for guilds, i miss it big time!! i spent all my time building and living in space in my vigo lol I even miss the card game i used to go to every tournament , never won big big but did win some great loot cards. i will edit in a video later

Hell yeah man, If I recall correctly I lived on Lok in Shadow-Fire Server and Was a Bounty Hunter? My official title above my name was Guardsman, so I was a mix of things. Marksman, things like that. Zabrak Species.

ayyy, fellow shadowfire dweller here. My bestfriend and I spent days over at each other's house LAN Partying it up, making the grind to 90, creating a guild and city(on corellia), and having an awesome time. SWG definitely created my favorite gaming experiences of all time. So much freedom and such a cool atmosphere. Glad someone else on here also played, let alone on the same server!

Thats awesome man, have you given any thought to restarting gameplay on the Emulators online now?

I did play galaxies when it was live, I remember starting it up and learning that servers were down I was sad :C, the one I remember being really confused when I first started playing because i had never played a game of that genre.
