I never cared much for the timebomb in New Vegas, it's especially puzzling how you're supposed to use the thing in VATS...

It's gotta be that silenced .22 pistol. Hate that little shit to pieces.

The silenced .22 is actually (if you have no mods installed) one of the best small stealth weapons. I remember stealthy killing casino members hahahaha.

I'd say my least favorite weapons is the Arc Welder. Hated seeing that thing ALL around Lonesome Road.

I say the plasma weapons, they are ridiculously underwhelming in terms of sfx, projectiles, damage, and laser weapons spewing crits like there is no tomorrow does not help.

The BB gun hands down is the worst gun in fallout 3 (Not even sure if it is in fallout NV) but damn ... it sucks (Then again ... it is a BB gun why am i expecting more from it) but an actual weapon that does suck is the plasma rifle.. @Sage has listed all the reasons why i don't like it

Yeah, it's in fallout new vegas, there's even a unique version of it called the Abilene Kid LE BB gun. It's shit, but it has a pretty good critical hit stat, equivalent to that of a sniper rifle hit.

For me personally it was the recharge weapons. While I prefer using weapons that require lead and and black powder,I try giving energy weapon's a chance every now and then. Still the recharge weapons felt like I was using one of those cheap laser gun toys you can buy at a dollar store.

The recharger weapons really do look hideous.

Maria, Benny's personal weapon. Didn't appreciate to see Maria Virgen imagery on it.   If they would have made a fictional virgin based on her it would have been better.

Really? I find the Ranger Sequoia to be pretty good. Well, only because it looks good. Aiming with it absolutely sucks. I always hipfire with that gun, it's pretty accurate when doing that. It also makes you look like some sort of badass cowboy when you do so.

I think it's because in FO3 and FNV there wasn't much variety in the energy weapons. It was either laser or plasma, and those were not satisfying enough

This was my biggest gripe without 3 and NV. Guns had some bunch to them but laser and plasma was meh at most.

I think the gatling laser and the plasma caster are alright, but every other energy weapon is just too much of a bother to me. Having to maintain it, keep a steady amount of ammo for it, things like that. Small arms are much easier to manage in my personal opinion.

The chinese pistol from fallout 3. God, that weapon sucks.

Probably the regular knife. Crappy damage, no extra effects IIRC (e.g.: extra limb damage or critical chance boost), and almost no reach. The only saving grace is decent swing speed. But then I guess it's to be expected for a "starter" weapon.

I'd have to say the .32 pistol. Even though the damage per shot is smaller, the Chinese pistol at least has a faster fire rate, resulting in greater DPS. It also has a larger magazine, meaning less reloads.

The Single Shotgun in the New Vegas is crap too.

Yeah, definitely about the lasers myself. I think the worst kind of weapons in the games have to be the unorthodox ones. For example... remember the Junk Gun? Even plasma could outkill that thing. Now, if it were able to throw knives... sure. Knives suck too. Let's just shoot our enemy in the eye with plastic knives.... yeah.
