So the first trailer for Star Wars Battlefront 3 has been released. Is there anyone who is as excited as I am for it.

Oh when I heard Vader breathing I about fainted from excitement. And Boba Fett with that Rocket on his hand... Battlefront will be good if EA doesn't screw it up too much

That's the only thing I'm worried about. EA screwing it up. But they had better be careful. Them screwing this up could be bad for them, like Valve announcing that they aren't making Half Life 3 bad. lol

OUH YEEES, i just hope they don´t make a battlefield hardline with the universe of star wars. I´m a huge star wars fan, and i hope they don´t mess up with the newest version of my all time favorite game

This game looks great. I'm really excited about it. I thought it was kinda funny in the trailer that no matter what the empire brought in for reinforcements the rebels destroyed it. I mean that AT-AT only lasted for about  10 seconds. It was only when vader arrived I began to feel sorry for the rebels.
Those are minor nitpicks. But this trailer did its job. It got me really excited about the game.
I am however still worried about EA making too many DLCs. I hope they wont but you can never be sure

what does dlc stand for?

It stands for downloadable content

The Clone Wars Contents I'm not too concerned with, but NO SPACE BATTLES. That sucks. But it is EA, so I have a sneaking suspicion that DLC will fix that instead of including it in the core game. lol

I love the graphics of it, I love that it's a new Battlefront, but EA is really making me not want to buy it. They'll probably lock both the prequel trilogy content and space battles behind a wall that can only be dropped by throwing $30 at them because everyone knows that there's a market for both, and EA plans on exploiting that market with two separate $15 DLCs. One of the parts that pisses me off the most (second only to my final point) is that it'll be part of Origin. Modding on Origin tends to flag you as a cheater and that means you'll most likely get banned.

How can you make a Battlefront game and disallow modding? I still play Battlefront 2, I just played it yesterday. I don't play it because the vanilla content is just that good, I play it because there are so many overhauls, crossovers, new campaigns, graphical improvements, new sides, and new weapons, all provided by the community that we didn't need to pay to use. I mean, you can play an all-out game of conquest with max tickets and fight as the Alliance against the Collectors or Geth, the next round it could be the Old Republic against the Old Sith Empire.

And the most infuriating part, Microsoft threw cash at EA to make sure that the XBONE gets the game first. Timed exclusives don't help anyone, they just piss off the group whose company didn't want to pay money to get early access or was too late to throw the money at the company.

just hope there are no battle packs and its launch won't fail.

It looks great, I'm excited to see where it goes. BF2 was my thang back in the day!

The pre order at gamestop is 5 bucks in case you were wondering. You will get early acess to an already free dlc for the episode 7 planet "jakku".

Honestly,it looks good and everything...but the lack of space battles and clone wars era leaves a lot to be desired,maybe once those things get added to the game i will give it a look but for the time being i'm just uninterested

Isn't battlefront ps4 only or something? If it is I might just get a ps4 to try it out loved battlefront 2

No i'm fairly certain that it is going to be released on all platforms.

Its almost like a downgrade right? I wouldn't be surprized if it was made into dlc.

It's almost the opposite of PS4 only with Microsoft buying the timed exclusive rights. Because it's not enough that their console can play the game, all other systems should be unable to play the game for a while.
