Morning all, joined up a day or two ago and i gotta say im very impressed with what ive seen so far downloaded 2 mods already, both from dragbody one of his armor packs and his dead money overhaul. (what was up with that "bloodbag" in the hospital?) Anyway, suppose i should tell a bit about myself, i was born in the early 2000's but ive got a love of "boomer shooters" and retro games in general. (mostly because of my 10 year old laptop) Ive been playing shooters and rpgs of all kinds since i was a youngin, my favorites being the elder scrolls, S.T.A.L.K.E.R, and of course fallout. ive put over 400 hours into new vegas on my ps3 before she died last year. now my old laptop may run it at 40fps at 800x600 but boy oh boy can i finally use mods, its been fun hunting around nexus and occasionally finding some really top notch stuff, but from what ive seen of this site so far it looks like top notch is the norm. Anyway im glad to be here and look forward to getting to know the community.

Hey Wolfhound, nice to meet you , I'm new here too. My laptop isn't all that great either, but I make it work. I've never played STALKER but I've heard good things about it. Anyways, have a nice day man hope you and I both enjoy our time here.

Get all of that dragbody overhauls then Hope the laptop can handle it though.
Glad you found here, mods are the most fun parts of this game in my opinion.

I'm affraid your laptop wouldn't handle some of the dragbody's mods with textures up to 4k. But there's a way out for you. Try to use Ordenator to reduce texture's size.

yeah i tried out that legion overhaul of his and places like nelson and the fort had some slow down, way better than i thought it would be though, ill check out that tool you linked, thanks.
