Never liked the Filoni-verse/Clone Wars version of them. I learned to love them as a KotOR I and II player way back in the day when they were Star Wars variants of Spartans and Vikings. The Republic Commando vision of them was ok as well, but never held my attention in the same way. I always imagined Kal Skirata and his band being middle of the road believers who followed the Mando creed at it's basic level, but Jango and Boba living the Crusader Code as full time mercs, hunters of men, and warriors. The lore has gotten awfully murky on the subject since all that but it's what I continue to believe lol

Pretty much a lover of Mando's religion, culture and armor (mostly armor NGL). The design they have... it's amazing. I used to compare them to Spartan warriors a lot, the design of their helmest is super Spartan-ish, the way their leader has to be one of the best warriors they have (like Leonidas for example), etc. Just love them, also I used to customize figures a lot (still have my Mythos Boba Fett posing right in front of me).

Mandos gotta be one of my favorite fictional cultures of all time. Its the perfect blend of Mongolian/Viking/Spartan feel that it just culminates into one the coolest warrior cultures out there. I actually really liked Filoni's portrayal of Mandalore because it showed this awesome struggle of adapting to modern galactic society or remain true to the old ways.
