| @FoVet20I just read it yesterday and it is definitely interesting. I agree that it doesn't really have an overarching story but more a collection of short stories that showcases the lengths people go to just to get what they desire. People might disagree with me but it is somewhat similar to Jigoku Shoujo where it is short stories on revenge, regret and/or satisfaction. _________________ Will there be enough Dakka? |

| @FoVet20 I have a recommendation for you. This is a martial arts anime but the protagonist is a bit complex and not entirely black and white. I think you might find this read interesting based on your recommend list. There is a bit of man rape in the early chapters though just as a heads up(the man rape in prisons to be precise). Shamo Edit: I also have to add that this manga is really really dark. If you are offended by criminal acts such as murder and rape then you probably should skip this. | @FoVet20Just read the description of those two and those sound really interesting. Thank you for the recommendation. I do not think it is odd to have an interest in manga/any content with violence in it as long as you do not have a craving to act like that. I really like dark themed stuff because I find it interesting when they explore aspects of human nature that we probably would not experience in our life time in this day and age. Violence unfortunately is part of human nature which is why it should be included in any form of media(regulated of course) as it would be hard to relate to content that feels alien/unhuman. Well as long as it is not like Mai Chans daily life though. I read that way back when I was in my teens and it is senseless butchery at least to me. _________________ Will there be enough Dakka? |

| @FoVet20 Yeah I watched the series too. I take you have read Junji Ito's work. It's one of my favorit mangakas, Umezu Kazuo is good too, but a bit old. If you've read so much manga you could try some western comics. Crossed is pretty dark.
