| Hi everybody, I am new to Fo4 (yes after three years...) and I have a strange road texture glitch. It's rather subtle but sometimes it's quite visible. - Spoiler:
Sorry for the screenshot, it's not ideal, but look at the middle of the picture, there is a vertical strip. This glitch may be old, I don't know, like I said I am quite new. I read in a post that some files are maybe missing but I hesitate to verify the files with Steam (my .ini are custom). Please tell me if you know anything about this visual bug. P.S. I use MO2, ENB and Vivid Fallout AIO but it even more visible with vanilla textures. |

| I mod FO4 heavily and I don't think I've ever seen that. Since you use MO 2, trying another road texture or disabling one is a piece of cake....Have you tried any other road texture than the one that almost seems to fix this? The Vanilla assets are all contained in ba2 files so that's a bit more involved.
I actually think this is a mesh problem and not a texture one, but the process using MO 2 would be virtually the same. You could potentially open up the ba2 files in a separate folder to see if the mesh is missing or corrupt. It would give you more info at least.
It does seem like something is wrong in the game file and you might have to re-verify your files on Steam, but I would try anything before that. If you're on the most recent game version, I would definitely not be afraid to verify the game files....if you have to. I can link you to some other high quality road textures on Nexus if you need, but the good ones are pretty well known. |

| @jacoboriley Thanks for you reply. Actually I tested several mods which replace road textures (NMC's, Roads Redone) and the glitch is always visible, everywhere. So I'm going to verify the files through Steam, one of my .ba2 may be partially corrupt. I will tell you soon if I notice some changes. Thanks again! EDIT: Unfortunately nothing's changed. And I run out of ideas... |

| That is a new one to me. I do not use the HD texture packs from Bethesda, but instead use a tool provided in this guys guide to use as a texture base for the custom stuff I add afterward https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/23556 I also have not used the new updates for six months, but that link takes you to a guide that does stay current with every update. Maybe a total reinstall is in order for FO4..... ....stop throwing things at me |

| I've finally found what causes my glitch: this is actually a simple mod, Puddle Remover Plus. So I think I'm going to play with these damned puddles! - PROBLEM FIXED - |
