Hi! I'm ZoomBass, or Rune if you will, and I heard there were some spicy mods here. I'm somewhat clueless when it comes to mod making myself, so I really appreciate when folks are willing to share their hard work. I am a bit of a screen archer though, primarily over on the Nexus, and was wondering whether there might be some rules against showing GUN exclusive mods elsewhere. Obviously distributing the mod itself is a big no no, but what about screenshots?
Also, forgive me if I don't appear to be a very active community member. I'm not particularly outgoing and a whole new forum is always a bit daunting to me. I hope that's alright.

As for the screenshot situation,it's a bit iffy. As far as I know,Nexus officially doesn't allow pictures of GUN exclusive mods on there.

Simply put,just play it safe and don't upload GUN stuff onto Nexus. If you take a really good screen that you really want to share but it has a GUN mod in it,feel free to share on the screenshot topics on here: https://www.gunetwork.org/t17467-fallout-screenshots-xiii

Whether you're a mod creator, a mod admirer, someone who simply plays games or something entirely different - you'll be more than welcome here! There's something on GUN for everyone, I like to think. I understand how daunting it can be. When I started posting on GUN, I was pretty nervous too even though at that point I was well-versed in forums. But I soon learned GUN is one of the warmest, most welcoming and cool communities on the internet and I felt at home. It's my hope that you do, too. As for sharing screenshots, there are quite a few threads specifically for that right here on GUN. Fallout screenshot sharing, Elder Scrolls screenshot sharing, non-Fallout/TES screenshot sharing ones, too. There's even some for sharing videos! As for sharing screenshots of GUN-exclusive mods, it depends on a few things such as whether or not the author is okay with them being shared or if the site allows such content. Take the Nexus, for instance. Some mods here, even exclusive ones in the private section, can be 100% a-okay to post everywhere to your hearts content. But if the mod contains ripped content and you screenshot it, the Nexus will come down on you hard. My personal rule of thumb is as long as it's not ripped from another game, the screenshot is fine to share on the Nexus. I even upload some screenshots of GUN exclusive mods directly onto my Steam profile.
