I believe the amount of individuals that are allowed are already there. If you believe you are eligible or should be part of a group, I'd send a PM / message to one of the moderators and have a discussion on the matter. They will be more qualified to give accurate feedback/answers.

Also.. please those that read this and are curious. and getting promoted or are promoted currently. please, please, remember to make a post once in a while. Go to the Truth thread, Post a screenshot of your game. Thank an author for their hard work. Do so at least every 3 months. Not hard to do but easy to accidentally forget.

I vaguely remember hosting issues, the site would go down now and then. Come back under a different or same name. At least that's what the rumors were. Back then we all knew shadiness of porting content without permission and then hosting, so some of us assumed some potential legal issues were at hand. But that was just rumors. I remember Toxa01 getting the most heat since he was ALWAYS porting and never crediting, i sort of believe that Toxa was one of the dudes that got that rule implemented on the Nexus. He had dozens of mods, but he's a different story for a different day.


I'm just saying, i've been around this site longer than my join date is says on my profile. Kind of interesting to see it grow now, and see how the community grew so large and now there's a demand for these types of mods. But back then, it was so obscure and well kept.

idk why @commander wolffe but every time you demote or promote someone I get a notification that you tagged me so I get excited thinking that I got promoted or something then find out I'm not even involved.

In order to avoid this you may want to update your notification preferences or your watched topics.

Commenting on topics will by default notify you of posts on said topic

@danbrother, we only ask that once you have the time to visit to atleast make one post. It doesn't have to be much and can even just be a screenshot.

Just want to add, I have the same bug that Xrad described. It only happens when certain folks post in this thread though. For most of the posts, it says someone wrote a message, but occasionally it'll say I was tagged.

I don't think there's a set amount (I could be extremely wrong), but usually 3-4 people get promoted through each cycle.

Could be one, could be 100.

It depends entirely on the activity of people trying to get Colonial status.

That makes sense, people are always coming and going and the site seems to be getting bigger so the groups do too. Thanks for answering.

If I can't find something I go to the game section like Truth etc.. takes a few seconds just to be sure in case RL takes me away for a couple of months and I am unable to post again
