So what do you think The Last Jedi will be about and what do you think is gonna happen, i have heard rumors that there is gonna be a Super Star Destroyer, maybe something similar to the Eclipse, and if the movie does I hope it's not gonna get taken out easily. And with that episode 7 was similar to episode 4, so I assume episode 8 is gonna be like episode 5, so I think the First Order might go on a offensive with the super star destroyer. What do you guys think?

I believe that in The Last Jedi, Rey is being trained by Luke in the ways of the force, and somewhere along the middle or the end of the movie Luke is killed by Kylo Ren (Doubt it) or by sacrificing himself to save Rey and Finn. Kinda like how Obi Wan was killed by Darth Vader. And there would probably be a Resistance loss and a minor or major First Order victory. Most likely the First Order ends up finding one of the Resistance's bases and destroying it, kinda like how the Empire found the rebel base in Hoth.

That's a great theory. Explains why Rey would be the "Last Jedi" too. The Resistance being weakened would make the last movie in this trilogy way more meaningful when Rey eventually crushes the First Order, and then would make Rey the parallel to Luke.

I think it's confirmed to be multiple jedi because of how it's spelled in a language, but I could be wrong, but also nice theory.

I really hope they do something interesting with Rey's backstory.

I like the theory that there's something evil within her, that Luke's face when he sees her is, "oh god, you actually found me? I left you on a desert rock and have literally been avoiding everyone so you finding me couldn't happen."



Plus there's the strange vision she experiences when she touches Anakin Skywalker's lightsaber. Simply put, Luke didn't have crazy visions when he first touched his father's own lightsaber. And the first thing she hears is Vader's breath, plus she finds herself in the Bespin duel corridor (which was notably the last place we saw Anakin's lightsaber before it was cut from Luke).

I'm just hoping we get to see Luke let loose, in so much as a Jedi Master is willing of course. Well, that and some good Kylo scenes.
