Even though we all fuckin' hate him, I would like to have Caesar as a companion, because of his intelligence and he's generally a really interesting character.

Like a lot of other people have said the ones I wanted most as followers were Joshua Graham, Ulysses, Sunny, and as for biggest missed opportunity probably Toshiro Kago. Alien abducted 16th century samurai in post-apocalyptic capital wasteland, unbeatable!

My top pick would've been Christine from Dead Money. I'd add a related questline which involves you reuniting her with Veronica, helping both of them get over Elijah and helping Christine decide whether or not she wanted to re-join the Mojave chapter of the Brotherhood. Secondly, I'd have chosen Vulpes Inculta. Thirdly, I would've chosen Little Buster (after a heavy character rewrite to make him more interesting beyond the whole "I used to be a bounty hunter in employ of the NCR but got tired of it" thing.) Finally, I would've liked Jack from the Khans.
