So, I know the community is split on Fallout 4, but personally I love the game. I think New Vegas is still my favorite, and Fallout 3 is better than 4, but I still like the game nonetheless. Now, how does a vault suit from Vault 101 fit into this? Well, I was searching for a Vault 101 suit mod to use on my Lone Wanderer playthrough (Yes, I plan on playing as the Lone Wanderer in a future playthough.) when I saw a youtube video labeled "How To Get Vault 101 Jumpsuit in Fallout 4".
So, obviously I rolled my eyes and assumed it was fake, but watched it anyway. In the video the one playing the game and filming the video goes into the dev room in Fallout 4 and looks in the Armor box. He scrolls down to the Vault Suits and low and behold there it is! I couldn't believe it, however I checked the comments to be sure, and yup everyone confirmed it. So finally I decided to check it out myself and boom! There it is! There is actually a Vault 101 Suit in the game. Both a new version and a slightly worn version.
So, I guess the main reason I brought this up as a topic is to raise awareness of this little hidden gem and to ask...what does this mean? Currently you can only get the suit in the Dev's room or through consoles. However, what does this mean for Fallout 4? Do you think the Lone Wanderer could be returning like several other Fallout 3 characters or was it just cut content? If the Lone Wanderer did somehow manage to return, how would you feel about it?
Personally I don't really think he's returning, but....I don't think it's cut content either. I think it was a little thing Bethesda choose to hide in the game for the fans. But, that could just be me. Tell me your thoughts!
On a side note: Now we just need a Vault 13 jumpsuit. :3

Hopefully he comes back as a legend just like the vault dweller,a vault dweller who changed the wasteland. Having him back will seduce some Fo3 lovers into Fo4 well thats sort of a good thing because you never know what Beth is gonna do next. Also if it was cut content im fine with that as long modders make a more vault 13 armor-ish mod for the vault suit then i'm good.

I don't think he is returning, and yeah, I agree the jumpsuit being a little nod towards Fallout 3.
If he did return, it would be the biggest mind blown since The Institute.

Wow! That's certainly mind blown! Glad you bought this information up! Nice job mate! Here are some of my reasons why it exist in Fallout 4:
1. Cut content - Maybe they originally want to put some content of lone wander in Fallout 4, but unfortunately it got canceled like many of other contents.
2. Future DLC tease - The reason they do cut content is because they want to use it on DLC (Ex. harpon gun, arena, etc.)
3. Base game content that has not be discovered yet (very least likely)

I think it's just there for testing reasons. They may have just put it there by accident when testing out weapons, armor, etc.

What others said, testing or just a nod. It was also in New Vegas (unused of course)

The 101 suit was cut content. Beth wanted to put it in there as a refrence to FO3. Since so many people from the Capital Wasteland are in the Commonwealth it would have been possible that someone took it with them

Dang, is it really in there? I've been in that room and container so many times. I can't believe I've never noticed it. I hope it's part of some future DLC rather than just cut content. Same with that harpoon gun. I was really hoping for some underwater adventures after seeing beth's concept art. Any sort of DLC relating to the capital wasteland though would be a nice tribute to 3. I could see them expanding on Zeta.

Going to have to agree with everyone else, it was probably in the game as a test model from before they even had an idea as to what Vault the player would be from. I highly doubt it would be in DLC but if it was in one or they slipped it in via an update and added some kind of reasoning that would be cool.

Or, perhaps, a dweller of Vault 101 had emigrated to the Commonwealth. The body of Knight Varham wears a vault suit under his armor frame, so is it reasonable to assume that he was a vault dweller at one point? I know Bethesda will never release the actual details of what happened in F3, but it doesn't hurt to speculate.

I am fully sure that it's a Fallout 3 Reference, just like Mcready and Maxson.
