Sadly, I do not really play New Vegas as often as I used to, mainly because of my schedule being unstable these past few months. Though I will say that until the CK for FO4 comes out. Whenever I do get some free time, I might hop into the Mojave to pursue some bounties with Willow. Just like the old days.

i still like a lot of the feel in new vegas, fallout 4 has some really cool stuff going for it, like some parts really took me for suprise like i felt finally fallout has some sense of atmostphere its not so bland like but i really do feel the whole wasteland survival thing in new vegas like on hardcore mode with some mods it really becomes an awesome simulator

I don't play it anymore to be honest, but that's because I had a goal to play it one last time and finish the whole game plus all dlc's which wasn't something I did the last time I'd gone through. Though if you were to ask if I'd ever re-install it and play it again...no, never. Don't get the wrong idea, I had fun and I liked the story, but by the time I was at the end of my final play through I was just sooooo damn bored, even with all the mods I had installed I was bored out of my mind and had to force myself to finish it. I played on hardcore mode which stopped being hard after level 15, and went to straight up 'cake walk' around level 30. Even Dead Money was easy for me...I went through it pretty much just using a cleaned cosmic knife, chopped up every ghost person I saw. But the fact that I was punching the heads off of death claws and killing them in 1-3 hits at level 40 (including the legendary death claw) on hardcore difficulty, wasn't what made the game so boring I mean it helped, hell was actually kinda funny at first but no...it was the desert and the world I was exploring. It was fun for awhile, but it just got really dull. I had explored every place on the map and done every quest that there was (well for a NCR play through, so I obviously didn't/couldn't do the legion quests). I also didn't fast travel during my final play through either so that might have also added a lot to the boredom.
The dlc on the other hand were really fun, I did them spaced pretty far aparted from each other, like basically when I felt I was 1/4th of the way through the game I did honest hearts, 1/2 way through I went and did Dead Money, 3/4ths I went and did OWB and then right before the finale at the damn I did Lonesome Road. Smart move on my part as it turned out, was able to mix it up enough and get me out of that desert at just the right moments to keep the game interesting enough to finish.
So yeah, after having put in over 779hrs of playtime over the past several years I just finally burned out on it. I mean over all good game. Had some fun times, but I just can't go through it again. Great main story, but the world and the side stories going on there are just...not that interesting to me, (aside from the dlc's) I mean it just got old you know? And even though a lot of people really dislike it for whatever their reasons are, for me Fallout 4 is a very welcome change of pace and scenery, and I am thoroughly enjoying the hell out of it.

I think New Vegas is still overall the best 3D-Fallout.
It could have been so much more if they didn't cut it short or limit it for consoles. Plus I loved the desert setting as well as the colorful and wild remains of Vegas as opposed to endless blank ruins of concrete. It was post-apocalyptic, but it had character.
And I didn't really like the new direction they took with making the main character very... linear. The dialogue reminds me of Mass Effect and the dialogue options often seem meaningless. That's not really what I want from Fallout, I prefer the Fallout 1 and 2-esque settings and Obsidian.

I just recently got up to the point in the story right before the Battle of Hoover Dam (NCR playthrough) and I just finished the last of the DLCs last night. Now I'm finally ready to do my first playthrough of New Vegas Bounties I-III. It's apparently one of the best quest mods for New Vegas to date, so I'm pretty sure I'll enjoy it. So, to answer the initial question, yup. Still play.
