Fallout 4 Roleplay Expansion

Post by Athanasius on Sun Nov 15, 2015 9:28 am

Fallout 4 New dialogue system is amzing, what really lacks though is a "bad guy" option, and its a really big problem with the game, you cant be the bad guy.. you cant kill every person in boston, hell, even side with the synths and kill everyone....i reall hope bethesda makes some kind of "Evil Comes In Many Forms" Expansion...that adds more quests, options dialogue or even completely new endings to the game....

I didn't notice that. The role I'm going for on two characters I'm playing currently is good. One with the Minutemen and one with the Brotherhood of Steel.

I must have been thinking I was making all the right choices when there weren't any wrong choices. Ha ha!

I strongly disagree about the quality of the new dialog system, but otherwise I agree. I love being evil and hate being good/neutral, so the lack of "bad" options disappoints me. And there's not many options for roleplay seeing as how you're locked into a character with a predefined backstory and personality.

I was thinking about if it were possible to replace the male voice character, at least, with the voice of
a certain undisclosed mercenary:
Kellogg

He's got a lot of lines and with a bit of work I reckon it could be plausible to have a roguish mercenary main character voice.

I really hate the new dialogue system, lots of time I have no idea what exactly it's going to say and whether it's going to live up to my expectations or not.

Though I thought there are plenty of options to be a douche? I accidentally click on it a lotta times. Well I guess douche =/= evil.

In an interview with the female protagonist voice actor, she said she had to record about 13,000 lines. I don't think Kellogg has nearly enough lines to match that, and custom modded protagonist voices are gonna be a hell of a ways off after the Geck/Creation Kit drops.

Sorry, I just wouldn't get your hopes up.

I'm with Wolf on this one. I've seen tons of really jerk-ish dialogue lines. Maybe not flat-out EVILLLLLL dialogue, but you can talk to people like an absolute asshole. If you need worse than that, let your actions speak for you. TongueTril

The Sarcastic options are the best, but what we really need is a Silver Shroud voice pack, that was some of the funniest dialogue in the whole damn game. kek

I haven't tried it myself, but I've just downloaded it. This mod disables the voice of protagonist (male, female or both).

Even though I appreciate the effort of Bethesda, after 70 hours I got tired of my character's voice sounding not as intended or not as I would like to hear it (not as canny as I imagine it?).
And this mod shows exactly what your character is going to say, changes the wheel into a list. The description states that it will only work with the russian version, but there's an instruction in the comments section to make it work with english one.

There were mods in Skyrim that utilized the Bethesda voice acting and mashed it together to make things sound more situational. I think the mod was amorous adventures or something, and it let people live out their strange vampire loving fantasies with Serana and just edited stock voice acting.
